Well, they both seem to have their national debt under control, share some of that northern European / Protestant culture, and are a part of the Eurozone. So yeah, seemed like they go together at least as well as Australia and Indonesia. Really (really) hate it when people go “oh, countries X & Y are close, they must be like totally the same!” .
You see the pyramids in the foreground at one point as a rocket takes off.
It’s really not that bad actually (I don’t want to get into an argument over global coolingglobal warmingclimate changeglobal climate disruption whatever-it-is-now, but suffice it to say that I believe it to be nonsense ).
I’m thinking more of replacing the existing ones than anything else . Or you know, at least adding in the Anglosphere .
Regarding religion i can tell you this. Many swedes believe in “something”. Vague i know but many are atheists as well. Suppose i’m somewhere in between of believing in “something” and being an atheist XD
But no it is not blatant asumptions from my part The last Swedish government had great ties with the German government. Now that we have a left wing they will go and hug the french (ugh) but i suppose if the people want to gamble with everything now that our former government kept everything nice and tidy(at least compared to the rest of Europe and the world) who am i to complain?
Well i don’t really want to argument over as by the time it could have quite a lot of explanations. Fx that we should hit a new ice age soon (Geographically soon so in the next 10.000 year or so) which always (If it is based on the earth placement in relation to the sun) is started with a little raise in temperatures.
Actually i really like the lore of most of the countries and they have some quite interesting ideologies and ideas.
Perhaps, but being big on things like history & politics, I can’t help but look at some of them and just want to bang my head against a wall sometimes.
To take the Polystralia example - the Aussies have gotten a heck of a lot of flack for trying to limit immigration etc from Indonesia etc, yet within 200 years they’re going to unite with upwards of five times their own population of people, almost all of whom speak a different language and belong to a very different culture & religion? Uh-huh.
I am not sure they actually joined up… Australia is in it (Probably) and i have no idea which other countries is actually a part of it.
The african Union also make a bit sense if you read the lore as (If i understood it correctly) are grouping together to not get cheated by the other nations once again.
The Kavathian Protectorate makes quite a lot of sense if you read the lore as they are gathering because of a religion…
Just a question which are you most against and why?
Did anyone else preorder this? Also anyone up for a game at some point after the release, maybe that evening?
Also this might already be floating around, but I found this great site… Civilization V Analyst: Beyond Earth

[/quote]I intend to wait it out until the first or second DLC is out to try and save some money.
Ok this is just… strange. Also it irritates me as they stated out with saying that they wouldn’t explain what the great mistake is because it should be left open for the imagination.
One of the persons on the forum said it quite clear:
I actually like it better left as a mystery, because this is pretty boring : nukefest = dramatic climate change, the end. Well the factions/sponsors themselves are pretty good, but the general story is… uninspired.
No they talked about some of the quest making chains back to the big mistake but not revealing what it was.
We also need a British one, and I refuse to believe that some French yellowbellies represent not only the entirety of Europe but also Great Britain, I do say, By Jove it is unacceptable!
