Pandemic's Qubicle Creations

Excellent! Love the skull helm. Might I suggest you recolour is legs to be the same as his body? It will help the belt and pouch read better. Also, please add little bat wings

Great model!

OH I completely forgot to mention why that is like that! Thanks.

The reason their legs are different color is because they use the sewers to get in and out of the city, hense why the guild calls them “Mud runners”

Female imps will have wings

Well, now that makes perfect sense!

I hate making wings though.

cant wait to see them though! :+1:

and for the mere briefest of moments, i thought this was an attempt at a Gremlin… then again, Gremlins and Imps are likely cousins, no?

love this guy though, and cant wait to see him spreading mischief throughout my city…

NEWS:

So lately I’ve been posting more and more here, most of the other forums I go to are often dead and this once again become my main stonehearth stop of the day.

Regarding “Tales of Stonehearth: People with Swords” I have bumped into a really large rock and it happend to be next to a hard place (See what I did there). My creativity has dropped and I really do want to make the series, my issue is that I don’t have the time or skill to make good looking towns and houses.

This may seem like a small issue but as most film makers know a good set can a difference to its presentation. I cannot seem to get the feel of the series while keeping it close to Stonehearth… by that I mean I can’t get the look I want without going a great deal away from the style.

I have no clue how I’m going to fix this issue, I was thinking about making this a community project.

IF anyone would enjoy helping out to get the series going, just let me know in some shape or form.

Until that is resolved, I am testing out recording software so I can put up some Timelapse videos.

That’s all! Good day to ya

@Pandemic I am not sure that I have read about your “web-series”, can you explain a bit what you are planning to do? Should this be a fully animated movie or a comic-like story based on pictures? Also, is something ready to take alook at? I saw your deviant-profile, but it seems like there are only few models there… Sorry, not following other forums than this one :disappointed:.

seconded… would love to know more, and potentially help out if i can!

Yeah… I don’t post very often anymore…

The reason most people haven’t read bout my series is because I came up with most of the ideas and concepts for the series during my time over at stonehearthkingdom.com, some of the people there helped with the models, gave me ideas for the story and other assistance.

Well, the title of the series is “Tales of Stonehearth: People with Swords”. It’ll be a comedy/action series, inspired by Stonehearth, Red vs Blue, along with a few other things. The web-series will be 100% animated mostly in 3D Stonehearth model style like the models I make as well as small sprite segments like the “It’s too dangerous to go alone” scene in the first episode :p.

It’s story is focused on the Lore behind my stonehearth world called the Green Country. The devs said that the lore is up to the players, I figured I’d take that a bit higher. The Green Country is one of the 6 countries in a world which is yet to be named. There maybe up to 30 episodes in Season 1 that will be from 10-15 minutes long. Seasons after season 1 will either be based off my in-game decisions/conflicts or I will be taking a lore/story from a Stonehearth community member and turn their world into a part of the series.

I may make a separate thread specifically for the series, I haven’t had the time or need too yet. As it stands, I have a little over 100 models made for the series but I haven’t been able to find the extra funds to purchase Qubicle Home/Master or enough time to learn an animation program (I’ve tried Blender, 3Dsmax, trying out Maya later this week) As I post this I am working on the Title Graphic.

I am currently working on it completely on my own which is very time consuming, as I said earlier I’d be more than welcome if someone could help me model, animate or anything other help that they can provide. If anyone wants me to post the story I will once I’ve got a rough draft

@voxel_pirate Is this the kind of information you wanted? I plan to start posting more, I just have some personal life issues to get through before I overly commit to the series

@Pandemic Thanks, that was exactly the kind of information I was interested in… and I like what I read . Very ambitious but also exciting project you have there. One more question…

Is there a chance to take a look at it?

If you can disclose some more details and it looks only half as nice as it reads… you might find some helpers here. I did not design a house yet… but could be an interesting challenge. So if you let me know more about what you have in your mind, I can give it a try.

Like this. It’s a reference to the room at the start of the game in the first Zelda game, I used the dungeon 4 old man room and the skeleton bad guy at be Fred because he is a skeleton. He walks in the closer door, says something snarky about how the reference never gets old, and walks out the bottom door back into the Stonehearth 3d style. It’s like a 13 seconds scene I haven’t animated yet :stuck_out_tongue:

A fourth wall breaking Stonehearth animation? Awesome.

I like references to other sources… even if I am not very familiar with Zelda, that’s a nice approach.

Well here, http://didyouknowgaming.com/

This site has a bunch of gaming facts and information, and has a majority of the references i will be using. Just search the game and take a look

SO today my computer is having extreme tech difficulties to of fear of losing all my work I purchased a 1TB Portable Drive.

I swapped over my images and such, wasn’t even a GB… then I did the models. Grand total after transfering ALL of the my model work it turned out I have 3 Gigabytes of Models alone… as most people know models don’t take up more than a MB unless it’s a scene or landscape… My largest model is about 2 MB. I need to get out more.

color me intrigued by both models… your four-armed titan is already looking impressive…

as for the mystery guest, is it an existing model you’ve created, or something you rebuilt from one of radiant’s?
