Is… is that Game Newell? And possibly Blood Elves from WoW?

Gabe Newell?

Has a passing similarity… you never know!

Not too sure about the Blood Elves though…

You’re lucky this is in general discussion or I’d be curbing your derailment so hard. I’d be re-railing. Yer, that’s right. Re-railing.

No one’s asked for help for a while. Consider this as a Staff Break. :coffee:

######I mean, the 27-Hour a Day Workweek is a bit unreasonable.

27?! Have you forgotten we have a 36.843+e hour workweek?

Well, that’s for Executive Answerers. Not only do we get the exclusive bleach-smell free carpet, we also get a shortened workda…

Well guys, wanna Union up?

How can there be a 27 hour a day work week if there are only 24 hours a day. Where do you come up with the 3 missing ours in your day? Do you mean 27 hour work week, as in 27 hours per week? I’m pretty sure 27 hours a day per week is some form of slavery that dilutes space time.

Edit: not sure if it was a joke that was lost on me ._.

'Twas a joke… but I think that’s against one of the Employee Rule!

@EpicDwarf can you back me up on this?

I was expanding on what you said about there being a 27 hour workweek when there is only 24 hours in a day.

Company policy, Complain again and you will have to pay a fine.

But I dont lik- Nevermind.

Just a reminder that this thread exists
Also Archage is coming out 9/16 wooop

I’m looking forwards to a few games as well. Ancient Space (out this autumn  ), the new C&C game, Grey Goo, M.O.R.E., the remake of Homeworld by Gearbox, the last bit of StarCraft 2, oh and Warlords of Draenor.

Ahhh, this thread. Been a while.

Hey @Newf, do I still have my job?

Yes, but you don’t get paid

Yeah coming out on Steam too  . I might check it out if they do a free weekend or something, the price tag is pretty hefty.

It is free to play you know? (with Pay To Win elements though :frowning: )

From what their FAQ says i think you need to pay a onetime fee to get to own land though.

Looking for a long-term / scope game somewhat along the lines of Travian (but not Travian).

Ideal elements include:
Many days to months long.
Strategy / army / squad based units.
Base building +/-

I’ve been playing a ton of indie games for the past few years but they last about a day. Travian is nice but it devolves into this really awful mess somewhere in the middle of a server cycle. Any thoughts?

Ogame
Tribal wars
or crusader kingdoms could be an idea.
