Well since this thread has been brought back from the dead, let me add my list as well :stuck_out_tongue:

My all time favourite, and by far undisputed favourite series has to be The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson I have read the entire series 4 or 5 times, simply love it :smiley:

Other favourites include
Riftwar Cycle (made up of many smaller series) by Raymand E Feist
The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind
The Shannara books by Terry Brooks

Nearing the end of my Riftwar re read and need something else to read afterwards, @SteveAdamo any recommendations since we seem to have similar tastes? :stuck_out_tongue:

i can give you one very solid recommendationā€¦ the Codex Alera, by Jim Butcherā€¦ @sdee suggested this series early on in the thread, and i picked up the first bookā€¦

6 books later, i couldnā€™t be happier with the decisionā€¦ :smile:

I rather enjoy the Dune series. Only on the second book but I absolutely loved the first one!

I love the one where all the greatest characters go on a trip to the moon, I forget the name of the book but I know Rincewind , Carrot and the librarian were in the ship but there was someone else who I forget.
