and really, what else is required?
is this a mock GUI for integrating with your animation tools?

This is the thing I have been working on to ease the future pain.
I am in the middle of coding the scripts that do the work (and some which refuse)
So the first three buttons and the default paths work but the pivot setup is proving to be an interesting challenge.
I am having to go a bit rough n ready with it tbh. Each Rig (its not really a rig but a convenience ) has a number of objects, and each object depending on what it is (arm, upper finger, shoulder etc.) will have an arbitrary pivot point location for animation.
I am attempting to define a list of these pivot points xyz locations relative to their objectās centre. This list will be āThe Rigā and should work for all creatures of the same type and size. So when a new standard civ is loaded the setup rig button should relocate the pivots and Bobās your auntie: ready for animation civ.
The Icons are abstract place holders which in all likelihood will never be replaced.
So not finished but it ā¦it has begun.

Youāre doing Odinās work, keep it up good sir!
wow you have so much done. makes my start look pitiful. but none the less i now have motivation to make my mod as good as your . i better start working out how to animate modles else il be left in the dust.
i always find it fascinating to meet folks who have both artistic and coding chops⦠most folks are in one camp or the other⦠very well done my friend⦠cant wait to see where this project leadsā¦
And here I am, stuck in the middle with not enough of either to actually be good at either one⦠sniff
Wow this pictures are all amazing!!! Looking ahead for more cool ideas.
I saw this and Got really excited! Now I have to continue to think of how I will make all the things Iāve made fit together in a modā¦

P.S. Sorry if Iām pestering you
Edit: @Geoffers747 Yes
I think itās safe to say Tobias is hard at work at whatever it is he is doing! Unfortunately youāre just gonna have to be patient! A good Norseman must be patient!
Also for future reference, if nobody has commented inbetween your comments, would you mind just editing your last comment to include anything new you wish to say, gotta keep it neat and tidy!
Edit: @KingMooCow you donāt have to edit that post to reply to me, you can reply after me! I just meant in terms of subsequent posts
@TobiasSabathius May the Norse be with you
Dangit, I thought wordplay was my domainā¦
sniff
Here you go⦠just⦠take it
hands crown to @Newf
@Paranundrox Iāll be taking your Iron Throne aswell
@Newf donāt forget to ask for his posh Elephant too!!!
It really is worth it Believe me!!!
@KingMooCow Ill have his elephant to work in the slave mines
As much as I enjoy both of your commentary, I (and Iām sure @TobiasSabathius) would much appreciate it if you could keep the Elephant talk on my thread, to avoid spamming and derailing other peoples topics.
Wow who know Puppies could be so harsh⦠I LOVE IT!!!
@TobiasSabathius I love your Norse stuff sir! I thought about trying my hand at Norse stuff before I saw that I couldnāt do justice nearly as well as you lol. Plus I probably would have went with the fake style with horns and stuff and everyone would have chased me away with pitchforks and torches. I gotta ask though what size/scale do you make your houses in? I just started messing with huts/teepeeās with my tribal people and Iām thinking Iām working at a much larger and unnecessary scale of 90/90/90 lol.
