Well, it’s dead to me, as well as to many other people, but that’s just my opinion. I just really didn’t seem to follow it anymore after not a lot of Updates and other stuff.
I tried going to the Domain, but instead of www.cubeworldforum.org, I got the Zam Homepage.
I’m pretty sure they must’ve deleted the Forums or something, but then why would have they bought the Site if they were going to delete it?
Why is Google offering so many services for free?
Data.
Also, the domain has probably quite some value due to being linked all around the internet - and all those links now point to your enterprise.
That just adds more to the mystery. Why would they purposely destroy a Site that has value?
Right now it has about zero value. Few new members, the only regulars decided Cube World is stupid, et cetera. They made a bad decision and they know it. They are only keeping it because if Cube World ever does become popular again, (not likely) then they will be able to easily put up the forums again.
that is true, though.
oh please… the minute nanosecond Wollay releases an update, all will be forgiven, and the masses will rejoice… don’t even pretend otherwise…
which reminds me, I have yet to reinstall CW and see just how well Wesley can handle it!
I sense some sarcasm in that post . . .
Is any information available regarding the size of the development team around Cubeworld?
I only know of two people working on Cubeworld, Wollay and his wife.
And even, if Wollay is working fulltime on Cubeworld, it is a huge task to complete a game.
It’s just Wollay and his wife Pixxie, check it out: About
Thx @Swift_Cube
This matches my info regarding the development team.
Lets hope that Wollay and Pixxie use the funding from the α-Release to speed up the development.
Trust me, they won’t.
Even though I have faith in Developers of a potentially great game, especially Indie Devs, I don’t think the Devs of Cube World can get out of the pit the pit they created.
more like they didn’t
Are you saying that they still can speed up development?
If so, yes, you’re right, but even if they speed up the development and have a huge amount of updates, it’s probably too late to recreate the hype and the fanbase that Cube World had last year.
I was more like saying that they didn’t (past) because the time to do it has passed already
I love that game. And if it ever gets updated again I’ll most likely play it again. However I doubt it will be hyper-hyped as it once was.
Ah yes, you’re right too.
