Tales of Stonehearth: People with Swords

love the posture and personality is conveys… :+1: cant wait to see more!

If this series is going to be like GOT does that mean that it will have s*x galore???

@Pandemic If you did not change any settings for the work-areas in Blender, you should have on the right side of your window 2 areas open (i.e. two “Editor Types” or “sets of options”). One should be “Outliner”, which shows you the different items you have loaded into your scene. The second one should be “Properties”… that’s the one you want.

Go to the first icon which looks like a camera and is labled “Render”, just next to the icon which you can use to change the Editor Type from Properties to something else. Go down to the section called “output”. There you can change the folder where your pictures / animations will be saved. Also you can change here the format which is used to save your pictures / animations. Change it to a video-format (standard should be .png I think).

So if you have this… just render the scene and Blender will save the rendered animation as a video in the selected folder.

Yeah, at least something is moving here . You need to play a bit around with lighting to get the colors under control. If you want to focus on animation first, just remove the sun-object from your scene and you should be good with the colors.

 Dis gun b gud

I’ve fixed the color thing but whenever I do the lighting disappears, whenever I put in a light it does that. even when I lower the gama and other light settings.

Try to play around with “Environment Lighting” under the “World”-settings in the Editor Type “Properties”.

To save an animation without use of shortcuts 1.go to blender render at the top. 2.then click the render tab off to the right (unless you moved it). 3. under the dimensions tab set it to TV PAL 4:3 and the frame rate to 30. 4. lower down under the output tab there is a folder icon directly under the output tab. 5.click and save it where you want.

NOTE- only step 5 is needed.

I have the strange feeling that space goblin is going to become some sort of meme

I plan on making him my channel mascot  It would be pretty interesting if I became a meme founder though xD

How exactly did you get rid of the saturation problem?

It is intended to be saturated, I’ll mess around with the filters and junk to see if I can lessen it a bit though, I didn’t really know it was a problem

So you dont know excatly what you changed, because i have the same problem at the moment

I just edited the filters, if you go into object mode and click the model itself you’ll have access to the Material tab, I just edited that up xD if you need specifics PM me

MODEL UPDATE!!!

Alright, so I decided today to focus more on the first mini I’m making. I made the model of the land and I want to show it off.

 I will make up the base and then you’ll see that tomorrow

nice work! but of course it begs the question… will all your base belong to us?

UPDATE:

So, I’ve been reading over certain events I want to happen in ToSh (Tales of Stonehearth, remember the acronym I’ll be using it a lot from now on), I decided to postpone the series until I have a much better story. Now for the kicker. I will send out 2 invites to the team. Both of them writers. So the time it takes to get a better story will be much shorter.

Currently I am working on writing the main series while I have @CableX17 writing out some shorts, the added help may speed up short production allowing a lot more work to be done on ToSh. I will also be sending out 2 more invites to modelers on the forum. Hopefully I get some positive replies so we can boost production up to 11.

For now, I am working on “The Shenanigans of Space Goblin” which will be my main task until the story is up to par. As far as this weekend goes, I will be doing some work here and there but sadly you guys will not be getting a lick of it until monday… I wanna say neener neener but I feel that would be too mean of me

I hope you guys all have an amazing weekend!
