@Silas You know what else is made out of bone? The trapperā€™s knife!

Goblin camps could come with crudely made bone furniture that could be broken down into bone. A mason, or possibly an upgraded mason (how does ā€œBonemasonā€ sound?), could then craft things from that: at least one tool, and various more artsy pieces of furniture.

Goblin Settlement:
Area Settings-
Burnt/Ruins of a failed/taken over settlement (maybe use some of the preset homes in the build screen only half built or so).
Goblin Barracks shack: Were all the Redcap (goblin warriors) go.
Old Mine shaft/Dwarf settlement thatā€™s been taken over (Hobgoblins)

Goblin artifacts-
Totem/Statue representing a Goblin God they worship.
Bonfire in place of a campfire.
Giant Dragon horn (or whatever Horn) used as a Battle call horn for the goblins.
Spike fencing around settlement in place of normal fences.
Wooden framed watch towers with rope ladders.

Wood table with small bowls of goblin face-war-paint on it.

Traps placed around the generated world and your villagers could get stuck in them.

That gives me an idea: if cages can contain rescuable people, then they could contain one of the developers. (I remember seeing somewhere that they all have their own Stonehearth style avatars, or am I mistaken?)

Each one should be a max level of a specific profession, and they could even have their own unique recipes/abilities.

LOL, I guess. Maybe they keep the paint inside tentsā€¦?

  1. A pelt rack with animal pelts drying on it
  2. Assortment of animal bones
  3. Goblin watch post- some sort of tall wooden structure painted with the tribal pattern with a crows-nest like area

Pet wolves. Maybe with spiked collars.

How did I miss this discussion:

Typical Goblin set pieces should probably be very standard:

Shiny Things - metal bars, rare fancy decor that was stolen, etcā€¦

Bones - Chairs, tables, and decor all made from hide and boneā€¦

Goblin weaponry - I would argue that there should be some extra spiked clubs, and other gear cluttering their campā€¦ I would also like to see it available for Hearthling usage.

Specialty items which hearthlings should be able to take back with them if they attack the camp:

  • Animals in Cages
  • Some sort of special crop unique to goblins like a special fungus
