The game loads perfectly fine but i am unable to place the town banner at the start of the game. I might just be being stupid but wherever i click it just does nothing. pls help.
Hmm someone else just made this same topic yesterday, it must be something new this patch. Never experienced this before. I assume this will get merged with the other topic and flagged for the devs.
Are there any errors that occur when the game launched, or when you click? I encountered an error that refused to let me name the settlement, and thereon. Interestingly enough, I was able to place infinitely many camp standards.
Do you have any modifications to your game/files at all?

Well, this wasn’t easy to find, (it was marked resolved, so it did not appear in the feed looking at yesterday), but here is the discussion from yesterday:

Looks like the issue was a fluke error with the Steam installation, and despite reinstalling through Steam, some files were still in the folder. Assuming you installed via Steam, can you try deleting the entire installation folder, then deleting the game in Steam, and installing it again. The default install folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth.
Please note, if you have any save games or templates you want, please be sure to copy them from the saved_games and saved_objects folders before deleting the entire Stonehearth folder.
