And I don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface of what we can build - even in this early alpha. I know we’re going to see a lot of really incredible things to come. Just look at the crazy stuff people build in Minecraft, Terraria, etc.

Ever? Wow, I wish I could make sprawling empires like the ones in this thread. Looks like I’ll just have to stick to the tiny hovels with their mean beds and small banners.

Wow some of these are absolutely amazing. Here I am struggling to build basic houses and others have full towns in place. Great job folks.

I’ll admit, I built this one with insta-mine and insta-build both turned on. I wanted to place doors between each room but insta-build doesn’t work right with placing items and it was being problematic otherwise.
This one was fun…took several iterations to get everything looking just right.

Next step, stairs & multi-level? In the distant future, perhaps a mod to give us ‘harvestable’ chests, yielding maps, compasses, and boss keys?

I had similar thoughts as I was building it. I’ve always had the idea for a voxel-based RPG that’s sort of a mix between cube world and Stonehearth and Zelda. I won’t ever have time to realize that game, but this gave me a bit of an opportunity play around a bit.
