good grief? are you ok? how on earth did that happen, if you dont mind my asking… :frowning:

He made to many Qubicle Creations at to fast of a pace, and they just snapped :c tragic actually

xD No, I was helping my brother move and I dropped a box on my hand… he decided it’d be funnier if he didn’t tell me it was a box of heavy metal objects

For those of you who are going to miss my activity, I have a contest going over at Stonehearthkingdom.com. The winner gets there creation featured and added as a character in my web-series, if you guys want to check it out and enter feel free :D, and for those who build structures there is a contest for that too :stuck_out_tongue:

I am in need of some help. I plan to buy Home edition of Qubicle but I would like to get some animation work under my belt before I spend money of the program. If someone could let me know if they could export a character I made for the Webseries to an .obj so I can get some tests done I would be greatful!

@voxel_pirate might be able to assist… i believe he purchased the home edition of QC…

im not volunteering him of course… just sayin’…

I’ll get back to you sometime this weekend I’m planning on purchasing one of the editions this weekend.

Awesome :D, just message me whenever :stuck_out_tongue:

@Pandemic go ahead and pm me with a link or something and I will obj it up for you

I am currently living the home edition dream

If you still need an object file just let me know @Pandemic but if @TobiasSabathius is helping that might be a better solution as I make no guarantees on what comes out of my home edition as I’m still learning all the different things for exporting and some of the stuff that has come out… is uh a little strange. lol.

yeah he helped thanks though

UPDATE!!!

Alright, update time. I’ve read through the comments left since my last update and I have some answers.

Today I’ll be focusing on my web-series. I’ve had issues working in the scale I have been for the skeleon, knight and mage I posted earlier. So I decided to change how I go about things, ad the story I will be telling.

People with Swords will now be made using custom assets in a Stonehearth style, but I don’t know if that would cause any legal issues though if it does I will change it.

Next bit of news, since I don’t yet have funds for beta or the release build my series will start off as a telling of the lore I have written as to why the settlers in the game are where they are. Due to this change of style and story I have changed the name to “Tales of Stonehearth: People with Swords” (if that causes any issues with developers I will change it back. @Tom

The story will largely be focused around Fred, the skeleton I have already posted here. He was the Captain of the Royal Guard of Queen Deniva, in a raid of a near by fortress the queen and her escorts were killed. As punishment for failing to keep the queen safe, he was executed.

143 years later Fred is brought back from the dead by the Necromancer Stol. The necromancer plotted against the crown, and as revenge Fred assisted…until 3 days later. Fred was bored, so he used his skills as a swordsmen and his honor as a royal guard and slaughtered the undead army and the necromancer himself.

He now resides in Deniva Desert named after the queen, leading a pack of thieves who are dishonored descendants of the royal guard He plans to uncover the truth behind her assassination.

As of right now I am test animating my first rig and model, a test of Fred himself. Thanks to the aid of @TobiasSabathius, as thanks, his name will make it into one of the 6 main character roles.

For those who want to help me out on the series, private message me. I am only one guy and I can’t do all of the work very quickly. So if you wish to help let me know

Model update at some point next week. Btw, please read the full update.

Carry on.

OH I FORGOT TO MENTION!

Every season I do will be dependent on the quality of the story told. I really like my stories BUT if you have already considered lore for YOUR cities and towns and worlds. if season 1 goes good, and people want more… I’d be more than happy to use other peoples stories to expand the world of the series :stuck_out_tongue:

@Pandemic If you want lore then check out mine and @GrimMethod’s lore posts

UPDATE:

As promised I come to you with a new model. I’ve run into a few problems with this character but I now have a semi-finalized copy.

I decided to give him a hood and shield along with some small bits of armor. He was born an underling of a great thief and learned how to moves swiftly and quietly. He will come to realize he is too light to apply his lessons, so he gathers armor to equal his weight from when he was alive to apply his knowledge without needing to readjust all too much.

The armor itself is mostly custom, since this was taken I altered the hand plate on the right hand as well as the shield design. The armor and shield belonged to him in his previous life, he kept them to remind himself that his quest is not one for vengeance but to prove his innocence. I gave him a hood because I plan to have him hide his appearance when entering the city.

Another reason for his color choice is because of a detail in the story I have not yet thrown your way

I have taken a look into some lore to maybe have them tossed into a future season or to possibly have a part in the current season. @Newf I love your ideas and the lore. I will keep it in mind for future seasons, but do to the location of the first season I can’t use it. @GrimMethod I really enjoy how much work your putting into your mod conversion. I may or may not toss subtle references to your mod/lore, but due to the location of this season I can’t use it.

Another story update coming your way on Friday. Cheers
