Even though I will most probably not monetize any videos it is good to know what their intent is. I wonder if that applies to the in-game music as well…? I ask because I have tried to look around for this specific topic, it is interesting, but I have actually found no good answer to this. I mean, gameplay is apparently considered as something the user has created, but the music is an exact copy of the source and could thereby be under copyright…? Anyone knows?
For example, when I do a creation or episode in Minecraft and upload to Youtube, I mostly use original Minecraft music (it goes well to the game), but it is put on as a soundtrack - not recorded when the game plays the tune. (I record with music turned off and add it later instead.)

@voxel_pirate I understand what you are saying, but there is no progress. I added you on skype, yet you barely appear online. I want active people with good computers and good mics, no one has show that yet. The reason why I start this early is look how long it is taking for me to even collect people… There will be so much to show in beta, It will be a fun series. I need someone to help throughout the series, no one can just hop in on one video then be gone for the rest of the series. It just doesn’t work that way im my opinion… There is no news until someone actually applies and can private message me their skype. 75% of the people who applied and got accepted, didn’t pm me their skype. The other 25% are inactive.
I can’t accept you due to the lack of videos you can make a week with me, sorry. Also another reason for your decline is that I would like people to have microphones

I got your points. I am just suggesting to think about chaning the strategy. E.g. you could start working on the design of the YouTube channel. So you can adjust the “avatar” and the “background”. Why not reaching out to the people and asking who is willing to work on that? Maybe you want to link the YouTube channel to a Twitter-account. Also there you can already start to work on the desing. Once this is done (or maybe in parallel), you want to create a first stream to introducing the game or to summarize the live-streams… so you can ask for someone to work with you on that.
Not saying that this will work out… but might be something where people know what you have in your mind, it is something more tangible and it can grow over time.
Well I wasn’t really applying so no hard feelings from here, but you could always consider cooperative work, it is good for everyone, regardless of microphone status
And regarding that, I have a Logitech G35 headset with really nice recording performance. The reasons for not using in in my movies are:
1, My speedplay style that I do most of would only leave after-produced commentary as an option. And that is not really what I want to do at this moment.
2, Due to gaming and editing time mostly take place after the kids go to sleep, it would be disturbances (from both sides). It could be handled, but not right now.
3, English is not my native language, and even though I use it daily at work, I don’t feel comfortable (yet) to comment my gameplay.
4, Sometimes it’s nice to watch a movie without commentary. Yrimir does that really well for example, and looking at his numbers I guess that there are at least 76k subscribers that enjoy speachless movies.

Nice job providing details many people lack the skill to do that. You are fine at english, If you wrote all that in one go, It’s actually very good for someones second or higher language. We can always figure out something I like your idea on some speechless movies, from time to time we can organize those. Anyway if you would like to proceed and complete your application, Feel free to pm me your skype and hopefully we can finally get a youtuber on board
Hehe, well, working in a big international company for many years require english in writing and speech on daily basis. It’s a very good way to keep up the language. At my office, we have many foreigners that never learned Swedish just because it’s so common to use English. But writing is one thing, talking another. And I don’t know how other people think, but personally I don’t like the Swenglish pronunciation that we tend to get over here…
