Music and Soundtrack

@Avairian That song will never leave my iPod

That does help, and I was about to tell you that sadly I didn’t have those instruments when I suddenly saw that there was a drop-down box which was currently selected on Common Instruments. Change it to World Instruments, look under Far East and bam! Sure enough, a shamisen, a koto and several different taiko to choose from! I do love Sibelius First and its little surprises.

The first song that came to mind when you mentioned Takanashi Yasuharu is Yukimaru & Guren. Have it on repeat now!

@Smokestacks glad that helps, wikipedia also has a list of traditional Japanese instruments as well, but you’ve prolly got that all figured out. I’ll message you a list of some songs in a little while. I’m also going to be adding a little anime influence to my mod, so if you have a favorite anime soundtrack to use for inspiration.

Errm…errm…yeah I’ve totally watched more anime than just YuGiOh…yeah… glances around nervously

p.s. I have just reuploaded my piece on my thread, and, having left the other one up there to show you what I mean, you can really hear why I had to. The process was fantastic this time, literally just an export and an upload. None of this faffing around with JetAudio (though props to it, it worked and worked for free (trial period, now I don’t need to buy a license as I don’t require its services any more)).

Hahaha no worries. I use to watch YuGiOh, Pokemon and Digimon as a kid. Other than that I’ve only recently gotten into anime. Off the top of my head I’ve seen Soul Eater, Samurai 7, Elfen Lied, and a few episodes of Ruroni Kenshin. I’ve also just started watching Legend of Legendary Heroes. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few though. So you don’t have to feel bad.

Kingdom! that is a mighty fine name for a song

seeing as @Raj posted the track here, i think we can just merge this one over… show some additional love for his musical prowess…

@Warstories Thank you very much! You’re a kind soul in a cruel, cruel world (see side note) :pensive:

Side Note: Found a hole in my favourite shirt. The world is merciless.

I LOVE TO THE MOON. It has an EPIC soundtrack, and a super emotional story. Bravo sir. Bravo.

Hey there,

So, wait, wait… This isn’t officially made by Radiant Entertainment? This was just a fan of the game that made this?

If that’s true… First off, WOW! Secondly, this music is a ā€˜must’ to be in Stonehearth! It’s perfect for the game.

To @Raj Mann, if there’s ever a vote to enlist you into Radiant Entertainment for sound design… or whatever the term is… You have my vote sir! This is awesome!

I believe he started off as a fan, and then wa commisioned to help write some/all of the tracks for the game. Someone who has been around a bit longer, like, @Geoffers747, @SteveAdamo, or @sdee would be in a better position to answer this than I am…

@Raj is a superstar, and I personally think the world of Stonehearth wouldn’t be the same without his amazing work.
