yay, srry folks didn’t had the time to start the server y’day. but i managed to set up a vanilla bukkit 1.6.2 server this morning and it’s running, also the port forwarding is done…but i tried to go for a Static DNS and it was not yet redirected when i had to leave for work. if anybody has a mc client it would be great to see if the following address works:
otherwise i will have to re-check all the stuff when i’m back home this evening. if everything should go wrong we could always hop back and play over hamatchi. i will keep you posted when we’re good to go and what the final address will be!
so i’m totally looking forward to a mc session tonight (that’s in about 10hrs for me ;)) and build some epic stuff over the weekend with you guys!
Man, you guys are lucky. I’ve got a concert tonight I’m performing in (and working one tomorrow night), so there’s no way I could play Minecraft until later this weekend. Schoolwork’s been particular heavy recently as well… but if you guys plan on Vanilla gameplay at some point later on, I’d be interested in a little meet up!
And yes, I’ve felt that pain of Europe-American time zone issues… the server I’ve played on has a few people in Germany and Finland, so I don’t get to see them that often…
YAYAAAAA!! it’s on folks!! i hope everything is fine, it’s a 1.6.2 bukkit server with no plugins so far, we’re playing vanilla survival! looking forward to smash some creepers and build kewl stuff with you guys!
Tell me about it. I’ve even gotten a resource pack that’s made from stuff from early alpha because I just think that back then it was beautiful. I also preferred the sounds back then.
