Its ok @Xavion i was not overly attached to those trees, they were all scheduled for demolition. i just haven’t had the time to do it. The treehouse its self will in time be replaced with some thing far more grand. i just need to find sometime for it

Hmm… I was planning something quite grand as well, maybe a collaboration is in order. Either that or we’re likely to end up with a cool but weird looking structure there from having two large awesome structures in such close vicinity. Interesting thoughts are awhirl in my mind, I wonder how much coal I can get? and a few diamonds would be very useful. Hmm, I have that squid farm of doom as well though now.

i’m not up to snuff on all the various crafting options, but 1) are squids only good for harvesting ink, and 2) is ink used for dyes as well as books?
yay, sad to hear the server is down…as i’m not at home i can’t say what’s the problem is right now. but this is another good reason to have a (hopefully) reliable host that has almost now downtime. i will be back home in about 3-4hrs and will restart the server then. 
so thanks for voting on the server name and i just have grabbed me the glowstonehearth.com url! yay!
i will set up a simple webpage there and try to move the server to the new host over the weekend and let u know when we are ready for the big move! 
be aware that this thingy is still hardly under construction and new stuff will be implemented step by step. but i don’t want to overdue this as i still love to play survival with you after all…but as u see i like it slightly spiced up! besides the games, having a creative world and a skill system, the next big thing will be ranks! i really have thought about this over the last few days and i’m pretty happy with what i came up so far… i’ll promise you it will be very stonehearthish! 
so my big question to all of you is: how can a player rank up? can u buy the ranks (we’ll need currency & shops for this)? will u be ranked up by building & donating items to the community? do u rank up the longer you play on the server (playtime)? …please let me know what do u think and make your suggestions. i will introduce you to the ranks & the things you can do with later on.

is there some way to tie it into the existing experience system? either way, im curious to see how this plays out… i’ve really only played vanilla MC, and would love to have the time to play with all these extra goodies you all are devising… 
Sadly my internet is down so I will not be able to meet any of you guys on the server but I will take this time to meditate and make a new minecraft skin ( A more stonehearth/nordic one ) and maybe make some qubicle stuff, reading master and commander series at the moment so expect some Nautical creations
I think that paying for ranks in game only helps people playing survival, but playtime seems like a great way of doing it.
but @SteveAdamo do you know how many uses dye has now (leather armor, clay, wool, carpet, dog collars)
i did not, in fact, know it had that many uses… it seems i have been out of the crafting game for too long…

You guys have I think persuaded me into getting MC just with this thread and @Pepe’s fantastic efforts (and @Pandemic’s buildings 
) I shall see what I can do, but I’m hoping to be rejoining the world of MC and having some…is it ‘fun’? Not particularly used to this concept…

@SteveAdamo not sure how this things can be automated as i’m a pretty much a noob to setting things up like this on MC bukkit, but i’ll try to make it work somehow… yay, and can’t wait to plunder some more dangerous dungeons with you sir!

@George_boff yeah good point mate, i totally agree…as we have creative & games also running the ones that like to play there will not be awarded/ranked up. …so only playtime counts?
