It's Dec 30th! Waiting for the final build

@Paul_Wilson @beardyletsplay The game should automatically update, unless you’ve changed your settings games will usually update when there is an update available.

@Durstalph I imagine so! I doubt they would tell us that there are things in when they have been unable to deliver them, so yes, assume whatever is mentioned in the post has made it into Alpha 1!

@armann24 We might have to be sent a new Steam key for the ‘official release’ - and please people make sure you don’t redeem the Alpha and the gift key unless you want to.

Nope! No changes made here! I already expected the game to auto-update but I wanted to make sure. Thank you very much for the info!

relaxed as a stonehearth bunny reading a short story while waiting for adventure to start…

Tonight (9:14 PM here) we’re gonna be AWESOME! ;D

No worries! I think everyone is eager to ensure that everything is running fine for access to Alpha 1.

Hmm weird, i reinstalled stonehearth on steam and launched it, the steam download says its 92Mb wich is around 30Mb bigger than the folder, and when i launched it the first time it came up with an error. Oh boy i wonder, does this have anything to do with the steam version of the game?

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for that one.

What is the world coming to? Is this the end times?

Will The Alpha allow mods right from the start? OR will an API be released later on? (I’m not interested in modding I’m really just curious… and excited)

Modding will most likely be available from the start, but extra mod support might be a feature for later on.

As far as I know, the Steam version of the game (which is the Graphics test 2) has not changed in the past week. We have not yet pushed the final Alpha1 bits onto steam.

Our modding documentation is not yet ready, but if you’re feeling brave, you’re more than welcome to leap in and start tinkering.

getting in? is pretty hard now :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m just hoping I find the funny ones…

But it will be fun and interesting for us, players

Well that is what alpha is for! :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m pretty sure this community understands that!
