Gravestone Upgrade

It would be cool if you could write things on tombstones (In description box), and click on them to see the dead Hearthling’s stats too. :stuck_out_tongue:

As well as a grayscale hearthling portrait of the buried one?

Good idea, I agree. :smile:

how about different types of gravestones, like crosses for the footsoldiers, an anvil with angel wings for the blacksmith, idk about the others…

Here lies {hearthling name}
They found out too late that Ents have opinions about tree huggers.

They don’t think goblins are cute anymore.

how about if when a hearthling dies their body stays then you place the body on the ground somewhere and they dig out a little grave with a headstone

or a ghost of that hearthling might appear at night sometimes

I’m afraid that can’t happen, corpses aren’t family-friendly enough in a cutesy game like Stonehearth. :wink:

Possibly, though a large town may have a dozen ghosts running around every night and it would get a bit crowded.

how about a max of maybe 3 or 4 ghosts at a time. and the ghosts stay away from light…ie in a well lit town, ghosts will only be in the dark alley ways…during the day, the ghost would be taking refuge in a dense forest in the shade. and if you constantly remove it’s shade, it would get pissed off and send 2 or 3 zombies that night and send you a notification basically telling you to stop removing it’s shade. and if you keep pissing the ghosts off, eventually you will have a zombie war/campaign alongside the goblin campaign/war. and you can ally with the goblins (by ally, i mean be neutral) and fight the zombies together and if you beat the zombies maybe they will demand less stuff (the goblins demand) or maybe even ally with you. just a thought, so um yeah back to gravestone upgrades xD

I do love the idea of different gravestones. Here’s another idea: it could be based on level, too. In the Sims, when characters who were fulfilled died, they received huge, ornate stones. Less happy sims had simple headstones, and unfulfilled sims had small headstones only.

I’d love to decorate my graveyards with a variety of gravestones based on level or class or randomness!

I would love this, ghosts are one of my favorite parts of dwarf fortress and The SIms.

This is turning into a great idea. I want to see the Stonehearth team’s thoughts on this idea, @sdee. :wink:

love the idea, i also really like the idea of different tombstones.

it would make more sense if they burned up like the undead do.
