Hello, i had strong feeling to share my hard time with that game… 
My little utopia with almost 20 villagers in high lvl’s turn into cementary.

I don’t really see any defenses here. Walls really do help to keep the enemy at bay and channeled where you want them. Did you have at least one of each combat class? Even a trench can help in these cases.

I faced the same problem and unfortunately lost a village too it but the best way too deal with is is to get amour and the best weapons for your army and make sure to get a healing class they help alottttt
