[Con] [A9 r256] Assertion Failed: egRenderBase.h

Hi,

Went into the menus during gameplay, music had stopped playing and I was trying to find the volume. Accidentally went into the graphics options and when I clicked okay without changing anything I got the following error:

Assertion Failed: i !=
end(c:\radiant\bamboo-remote-agent\buildroot\sh-ob-build\stonehearth\source\horde3d\source\horde3dengine\egRendererBase.h:65)

Minimised Stonehearth to check the forums, brought it back up again, and got this message:

Game then crashed, taking my painstakingly constructed fort with it :frowning: .

I have not been able to play. I am able to have the launcher up but as soon as I start a new game and choose where I want to place my settlement. The game stops and this error pops up and then closes the game.

That’s what I keep getting. I get it when I load it from Steam and I even get it from just downloading the game straight up. I am trying to play on a Windows 7 Laptop which is 32-bit. I unticked the x64 box and still the same. Unticked the use Lua JIT just in case and I am still getting this error. No mods are installed as I don’t know of any and just bought the game yesterday. The build I am see at the bottom of my game is Stonehearth 0.1.0 (release 256) x32 build. It’s the same on the normal download but it has x64 build and the steam one says x32.

I have no idea what the issue is and I would love to play.

Whenever I try to load up my worlds or make a new one it finishes loading then crashes and says
"Stoneheart assertion failure Assertion Failed: i != end(c:\root\sh-ob0-build\stoneheart\source]horde3d\source\horde3dengine\egRenererBase.h:65)"

If you have similar issues please reply so that this gets noticed to be solved!

I’ve also tried uninstalling the game in every way and then reinstalling it but it still won’t be fixed, also I’ve only been using Alpha 9 64

when launching the game does it open and do you actually see the main menu screen, or crash right off the bat?

I see the main menu i can choose my location on the map but when i launch the map the game got this error :stuck_out_tongue: @8BitCrab
