Workers stop working, just idle

I just got the game on the sixth, its the alpha 11.

Hi All, I know this seems to be a common error but I couldn’t see any discussions on this for Alpha 11.

My user id stuff is 0b0f36d4-4455-11e5-9015-bcee7b5d8587 and I am running version 0.11.0 (release 453) 64bit build.

I am finding that all my hearthlings are going idle, this is also coinciding with the LUA portion of the task bar being between 95 - 99% full constantly. I have tried the suggested fixes I have found, saving / reloading, pausing restarting and making sure there are no items that cannot be got at (stuck on ladders, etc). I have fixed all these issues I can find but this is not fixing the issue. Currently my save is now unplayable as nobody will do anything, they won’t eat or sleep either. The game will work for a few seconds sometimes, but then go back to everyone standing around.

Let me know if you want any more info. Screenshot below

I’m also getting this error if it helps:

I like stone hearth but I have never seen this bug

@Relyss can you merge this topic with Workers stop working, just idle?

nvm @SteveAdamo beat you to the punch

First bug, for some reason my workers will sometimes just stop working and I have to reload the game in order to get them to do anything again. It’s not just the workers, it’s the carpenter, blacksmith etc. and they all just stand idle even if I designate more work or remove the work and re-designate and the only way to get them to work is just to save and load that save.

Secondly, sometimes (I believe it is when I load into my game) my workers are stuck in the floor bar their heads so then they can’t move and they end up starving to death. Even with the reset command, it doesn’t put them back above the floor it just slides them a few blocks to the side in the floor so it’s impossible to get them unstuck and they eventually die.

the first bit is already heavily talked about Workers stop working, just idle

I believe your second issue might be related to the goblin token, @Zooka128 .

Hey, got this error code

They just stopped doing anything.
Most of the time they are by the fire, or just walking about, but not placing or crafting anything.
I checked the .log file and there’s a lot of repeated stuff so that might be it. here’s the .log
Also lua is always high, about 60%+ most of the time, and I’m not building anything at the moment so that isn’t the cause.

Wanted to note that in r465 (x64), this bug is back. Saving and reloading fixes the issue for a bit, but it comes back.
