Which Hearthling Proffesion are you eager for?

this entire thread just screams “poll!” …

This could potentially be a good category for Trello - a card for each class not yet implemented to see which class people are most keen for?

i say herder /rancher for the yaks/beast master

well, some classes depend a bit on other features, so until those aren’t implemented we won’t see the related classes (kinda what happened with the blacksmith, it couldn’t be done until ore veins were implemented).

You can’t have a beast master if there aren’t beasts to tame, etc etc.

I guess they know more or less which classes they will implement first, but it might be a good idea for Trello, yes (having the devs the last word).

I used to think that too, pretty sure we’ve read the same thing. Though with the addition of foxes, squirells, rabbits and now sheep as domestic animals, the whole unconventional animals thing seems to be far away :frowning:

Then again, perhaps we can just hope that they’re not showing all their cards and keep the cool animals hidden away

I am big fan of overdoing things and if possible, I would like to see as much content in SH as possible  as many different animials as possible, same with professions, building samples, items, enemies, bosses, landscapes, planes and so on. As much as possible

My only concern with the game at the minute is the size of the class tree :c But my hope is that this is an Alpha-ish tree, 'cause surely the magic and stuff needs to come from somewhere? D:

I’m super-excited for the engineer, but also a bit bummed out, because then I won’t be able to pretend all my engineers’ names start with P.

You can change your Hearthlings names on their character sheet…

Yeah, that tree is probably going to change. Use it as an idea of the number of jobs they have planned, not necessarily number that it will have by the end. Jobs like the miner are a little redundant, and could be removed, while other jobs could be added, like a scribe. Things along those lines.

So very depressed that I missed this kickstarter…

No need to be depressed. You can buy the game right now and have access to the alpha/beta/full for the same price most of us paid during the Kickstarter ($30).

I know… I am playing the alpha now! :grinning:. But I will never know the joys of having my own little Hearthling pet companions…

I know those feels. I’ve been hoping Radiant will let us throw money at them and upgrade our current version with those special goodies. I mean… WoollySMASH without a Woolly Mammoth is a shame.

Wait…What baby Dragon?

If you Kickstart’d Stonehearth for about $15, you get a dragon whelp pet than bounces about the town

Edit: Didn’t realise I was being a fool and haven’t actually talked about the thread D:

Geomancer! Eagerly looking forwards to these Golems and what they can do!
