Oh definitely, those norman stone circles with like the hole through the stone that showed up in that search you linked gave me some great ideas. I think im just going to have to spend some more time on it and see if I can get them looking convincing even if a little over sized. all the ideas and inspiration and links and stuff are always helpful, because yeah we all know how to google, but we all google from a different angle

So… 302 stone and it says 692 blocks of wood but im sure there is atleast another 1000 in scaffolding and ladders
I give you… well I havent named it yet the only name I could come up with was “why oh god why did I think roof patterns were a good idea”
Maybe too many pictures but im really happy with it even if its not really finished yet and it took like 15 restarts and reloads to get it working properly and even then it occasionally locked up my game as they tried to figure out pathing to build it lol

I spent the last couple of my play sessions mostly playing around with some of the awesome mods (namely the Cafe / Brewer, more decor and natural coloured blocks). So I havent really built all that much but what I have done I thought id share.

The original plan was for them to be a perfect circle through the valley but I ended up enjoying the slightly wonky look
the only other thing I have actually finished is a graveyard section with a barrow
A look inside the barrow (still filled with scafolding it looks like im going to have to go through and clear it all out with destroy)
So as always I hope you guys like the city and any comments/ideas are welcome

Did you use the ib console command for the wall?
Actually mostly not, I did end up using it for a few sections where they overlapped in weird ways and it was freaking my builders out. the wall is made out of a couple of prefab sections I made and saved and just placed them out as needed/wanted

Amazing Work Keep it up
After two more weeks on and off…( mostly off ) its finally finished or at the very least as finished as im willing to get it at the moment. I think I’ll post the save once the upload finishes, the internet where I am is pretty glacial at times anyway without further adieu Odinport the vaguely norse port city.

Is it in build in peace mode, normal or hard?
And are you using any mods?
Built on hard what kind of vikings would they be if there was nothing to fight? , and for mods im using the cafe mod, more settlement decor and terrain coloured blocks.

i don’t think there could ever be too many pictures of this place

Like i said cafe and brewer mod, more decor and terrain blocks. Also its the last stable build on steam so I have no idea if it works with A16. Also the town has I think 46 Hearthlings where this save is so watch out for that.
