Trapper does not prefer to haul meat/skins compared to other things

Summary:
The trapper is VERY inefficient in gathering food for daily goal.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a trapper
  2. Assign a trapping ground some distance away
  3. Cut down trees between the trapping ground and town

Expected Results:
The trapper prefers setting traps and hauling meat/skins to hauling wood.

Actual Results:
When not setting traps, the trapper will haul wood until before hauling meat/skins

Notes:
Theory crafting about this bug:I think this is due to three issues:

  1. The food created from traps does not count towards daily goal until hauled.
  2. The hauling (collecting) food created from traps are a part of the general hauling, not a part of the job priority
  3. bfs hauling prefers hauling the closest item.

This means that the food from the trapping grounds will only be collected if they are the closest thing to haul when the trapper starts looking for things to haul. Most often this will not be the case and the food will just lay next to traps, not counting towards the daily goal.

Yeah I think each job should have higher prioties of certain items.

Do you know if they fixed this with the official release of alpha 14?
