So today I have been trying to start up both the map I created a few days ago and a new map I made to make sure there wasn’t a problem with the other, and the buttons that are usually in the bottom left corner of the screen are missing. I’ve tried closing out both the game and steam itself but that didn’t do anything.
By buttons, what do you mean? Do you mean the UI in the game? Such as the town info, harvest, and other such commands.
Those were missing for me aswell when I loaded up my biggest save. It makes the game real slow at first, but the buttons will come up eventually. If they don’t, you might want to get a beefier PC.

If they don’t eventually come up like he says they will, try pressing F5.

This happens to me WHEN I press F5. Sometimes they come back, sometimes not.
