Recursive tasks

I don’t know if this is a good idea, but could workers be assigned to do a task intermittently? For instance, in several games, I have created small gardens of berry bushes so that I could farm berries (not the medicinal kind that can be farmed). I had to harvest quite often and ended up giving up on it, so could that be a feature where workers can have a standing order to harvest certain areas every few hours?


As far as I know berries are only meant to supply you in the absolute beginning until you can get hold of a better food source.
