Just to build on what I’ve said, perhaps make the neck dark green? Or green shadow, ya know what I mean! Might make it blend a bit better?
Fantastic work, Pepe! I do have a suggestion to make but it’s about replacing your iconic colouring with a bit of visual lore. What I mean is to replace the green in the shoulders, boots and glove with something like gold or red. That way it could look as if it were a piece of armour, completely unrelated to the fiery demon that found and possessed it. Just an idea but even as is, I love it!
Edit: and also, and this might be pushing it, but could you crack and break the armour and design a bit to make it look as if it were really, really ancient?
@Geoffers747 @SteveAdamo thanks guys, good points! totally agree with the flat black and the neck is indeed best with dark green i think… also adedded some glowing details and altered the belt color but still not sure.
@Rudy nice idea, thanks…need to try this! and yeah the ancient look would be perfect, not sure if i can archive this but i’ll try, thanks for the support!
the back looks wicked… much better! im not sure you need the neon bright in the buckle though, as it tends to clash with the one in his center chest… i like the green in the buckle, just perhaps not the center neon… love the update to the neck too…
Yer agree with you on everything there! The buckel itself just needed distinguishing from the chest armour, which is now done. I think the green ‘core’ of the buckle, is unnecessary as it’s already in multiple other places.
But man, it’s a damn good job!
sitting here trying to figure out how to start modeling when i come upon this thread… mindblown “i have a shitload of work ahead of me…”
@SteveAdamo @Geoffers747 perfect, took out the neon in the buckle and tweaked a few details again, pretty much done for now i think. thanks for the great feedback u two! :]
@SharpKris glad u like my stuff! just try & error on my side as well, but remember it’s not work it’s fun!
I was thinking my Green Knight needs a dungeon as battleground and a bunch of other mean companions! So i wanted to try something new i my daily late night Qubicle session - Voxelized Concept Art! :]
Pretty tricky without rendering in a second software, but for a rough sketch i think i captured the idea… my next step would be to build some kind of an ancient, floating temple over a massive rock which is also part of the dungeon/story module. now scale wise i think a settler would be something like 1/4 voxel tall in this map. If you have ideas what my “Temple of Sotek” needs to have to become a fun module, let me know!
That looks awesome! Definitely a fitting dungeon for that Green Knight.

Loving the dungeon idea! i would be sure to download your mode
i imagine tiny green sprites infesting this place
ok, seriously… i want every creation you come up with when we eventually get our hands on the game…
@wminsing @SharpKris @SteveAdamo thanks folks, green sprites definively need to hang around there! keep 'em coming!
oh my gosh my temple did shrunk over night!! …no worries as i did mention, this thing should be huge and the settler should be 100 times smaller on this map, just was playing around.
I wonder how long before we have a giant villager titan …
Really impressed with your creations. Anyone knows the height, width and depth of the standard soldier? So we can get the scale right.
Made by Chaze007!
I went through the stream from yesterday and tried to replicate the base of the carpenter. I did not add hair for the sake of being proportionate on the head. This is in no way an official template, and may be inaccurate, that being said, when/if an official template is released, it may be different and subject to change, so with that warning, good luck.

@Pepe that looks really good. For some reason, the height thing with the soldier and the small dungeon gavea cool idea, maybe world mao? Like FF style? Find small locations, and then enter them, increases the size to full scale, it just reminded me of world map searching in FF games. Just my two cents, awesome concept art though! ^^,
@Geoffers747 haha yeah would be fun… and what i already love about stonehearth is that i think this will be one of the easier mods to code and get running :]
@SmoovTh yeah i did my updated soldier a week ago and never did check if every voxel is in place as i use him only as approx scale reference.
@AndyA220789 thanks! now that’s an awesome idea! really would love to see this in game, totally like the ff map thingy. on the other side when you discover with your settlers new areas on your map and there is this huge mountain with a temple on it may look kewl as well… :]
ok folks sadly only a few minutes QC for me today as i had to work on another project… but couldn’t resist to push around a few voxels, so here’s a quick rune stone sketch. hopefully i’ll have some more QC time tomorrow! :]
For some reason this reminds me of a plug … God knows why.
But side thought - it would be pretty cool if rune stones could either ‘slot’ into buildings, or slot into somewhere to allow for certain bonuses or effects.
Perhaps a slot machine Rune table in the town hall, different combinations of runes mean different bonuses or effects.
@Geoffers747 I like that idea. perhaps we could gamble our settlers lives for a random effect (the devs did mention human sacrifice… lol )
