[Penultimate Alpha] Performance suddenly dropped through the floor mid-play

Save and log attached. Can’t figure out what did it. Very early in a new game, very little built or placed; and suddenly performance became super choppy, which it never has before in any version. The performance meter is almost solid blue, but it has no tooltip and I’m not sure what the bottleneck is.

Save and log attached. The game is saved on pause; as soon as you hit 2 or 3, it redlines (blueline?) and goes to Chop Land.

I’ll try starting another game and see if the same thing happens. The last thing I did was place trapper zones; I removed them and waited a few, but no effect, still choppy. Placed new ones (present in save), no change.

Edit: once you look at the log, it seems there’s a pretty clear issue lol

Hmm. I can’t reproduce the issue on your save. It runs perfectly smoothly at speed 3 on a 7 year old machine, and the EventHandle lines in the log are a known and harmless issue (we should clean them up, but they are definitely unrelated to performance). Do you have any other context for what may be special about your config? Perhaps some other program happened to use a lot of resources at the time this happened?

er… i can’t figure out which save it was. No other game or save showed this issue, and new games since then have been fine. There’s probably no way for a clean test since the alpha was hotfixed, so I think this can just be called a fluke.
