have you tried exploring more area surrounding your town?

I’ve explored roughly 40% of the map. I settled in an open field, so I had to go pretty far to get wood and berry bushes.

ah ok, if you are only that far in, I would just wait a bit and see how things go when you get a month in or so. or when you get 30+ hearthlings

Agreed, gets much harder. Especially if you’re in the unstable release.

Also - Clerics currently make the game drastically easier. I’m sure there is a lot of balancing to be had.

I wasn’t trying to give an opinion on the difficulty of the game, only posting metadata on my playthrough for the devs since they were asking for it a couple weeks back and are still balance testing. I’m going to try Hard Mode pretty soon as well so I’ll have a second log for that.

Anyway I think Botchiball is right when he say that Cleric is a bit overpowered at the moment and this also should be valuable information for the devs.
