I can play stonehearth for a few minutes, and it works fine, but then every few minutes it crashes. I made sure all my drivers were updated. On steam when I try to make a new world, it won’t load, and the humble bundle download one will crash if I do anything that is building (stockpiles, trapping zones, houses). I am using Stonehearth 0.1.0, and I have a really good computer that can run most games. I am also using windows 8.1. Any help would be appreciated. I really look forward to playing this game. Thanks.
Pull up task manager and watch your CPU usage. Windows 8 has a huge impact on your CPU so it may be just shutting Stonehearth down to free up CPU data.

Can you give us the details please? In particular, CPU, RAM and the make/model of graphics card. Some AMD/ATI card drivers don’t like Stonehearth at all, and it’s possible that your drivers aren’t properly up to date*.
*We had a similar issue yesterday, where someone (and their update software) thought their drivers were up to date, whereas in fact the AMD website had newer drivers, and using these fixed the problem.

I have 12.0 GB of RAM installed, with 11.4 useable, I have an AMD A10-5700 APU with Radeon Graphics that runs at 3.4GHz. My graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 7660D. Also, I ran stonehearth with task manager, and the CPU usage didn’t seem like a problem. Thank you for your time.

What about me I have AMD A8 and 12 gb of ram and I have the same problem.
Add on to that I have a AMD A8-5545M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.70 GHz And windows 8 and its actually 12.0 GB 11.2 usable 64 bit.

How do I find out if mine are up to date.
I don’t use AMD so I’m not sure how you find out what version you’re using ATM, but if you go to the AMD website you can quickly track down the latest drivers for your card:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Manually input the settings, and it should find it for you without too much trouble. Eg desktop graphics, then Radeon R9 series, then Radeon R9 2xx series, for Windows 8.1 64 bit. Or whatever you have.

Hey…I assume no one has had problems…Or maybe even messed with the game in a long while, but I’m loving it when I can play & it’s a great distraction from my medical problems…
That being said, I’m playing on an “old” (more than a year) desktop & the game is crazy laggy which I can deal with cuz so is almost. Every other game I play…but my games keep crashing at random points…the first one was after hours of play…the next as soon as I opened it…is there any help for me?
