Goblin camps spawn too late?

Maybe it’s just my luck, having found huge deposits of coal and iron at my town, but I managed to deck out two solders with:

  • 1 steel short sword
    -1 steel shield
  • a suit of iron armor

EACH. So, as you can guess, murdering the goblin camp was incredibly easy. To a ridiculous extent, for that matter. I’m pretty sure this is just my luck, but this might be something you have to fix.

I believe gonlin camps don’t spawn so long as you remain under 3k as your town’s net worth. As such, you can easily gather materials to upgrade footmen and workers without going over 3k so long as you pay attention.
