Getting to know one another

I was just about to link the OTTD to you when I read your thing… then, of course, I finished reading it.

I feel so… young. Wow, this is like the ‘oldest’ forum I’ve ever visitted.

Well, I’m 15, in Britain: England and I have a toaster as a PC and thus I only really get to play games like Minecraft (which is what I do :frowning: ). I spend a lot of my time browsing the internet to find cool games for when I find a job that I can save for a new PC with. I am 16 very soon so hopefully I will be able to achieve this goal then.

Oh, and if you want to know my findings on some good indie games, well there’s this, Cube World and Castle Story (best ones).

I’m 17 years old (18 in like 3 weeks :D) and I’m currently doing my A-level exams :S Hopefully I’ll be off to uni later this year to study Geography.
I’m a massive fan of the Assassins Creed series, Tropico, Minecraft, Warhammer 40K (models and games) and Skyrim, so I’m a little bit random :stuck_out_tongue:
This is also true of my music taste where I like just about everything from Bach to Daft Punk

Eey guys, I am Tycho a 19 year old male from The Netherlands. I am in the same class as @thompie12 so i am also graduating high-school this year. I have been a gamer since we first had a computer in our house xD. I play almost any genre except for horror. (call me a pussy but i just cant handle it xD). From MMORPG to things like cod or Mario Galaxy. Games i played lately are Planetside 2, LoL, Minecraft, warframe and WoW.
I host my own minecraft server together with a friend check: Sea Story Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia (not yet open for public)
I have a pretty severe chronic fatigue decease. Which means that i have about 10% of a normals persons energy. This meaning that i really have to choose what to do. So reduced school time, And things like big partys and going out only by exception or in hollidays.
Nevertheless i already made some things in life with the most important is that there is a Tabletop game from me on the market and lies in the shafts of shops :D. De Poorters van Nieuwstad | Board Game | BoardGameGeek and the publishers page : De Poorters van Nieuwstad
Currently only a dutch edition but if it becomes a success in the Netherlands i may go world wide :D.

I Want to be an animal caretaker or trainer after my highschool. And maybe if people will like my game i will make my job out of it (making tabletop games).

Hope its not to much text xD. but anyway Lets have a good time on this forum ;3.

I’m JOC (initials), I’m a 16 year old male from England. I’ve been playing PC games for over a year now and found stonehearth a while ago. I spend most of my time playing games with friends or looking around the discourse but only now got the confidence to make an account. I’m About to go into As levels to do maths and computing and enjoy listening to Rock music.

Ignore @SteveAdamo he tries so hard to be a native of the Empire, but we all really know he loves Honey Boo Boo too much to assimilate.

Seems to me I am the youngest! I am in middle school, in San Diego. LOVE RTS games like Stonehearth, expecially moddable part.

Hello, my name’s Pyre.
Yes Pyre sounds like Fire, that’s the idea
I am in my Junior Year at Highschool, always posting from East Texas, I like chicken, have watched sword art online like 4 times, building and playing rouge-like characters.
I can usually be found monitoring the Pokemon Fan Center and Tactician’s Corner Threads, or lurking around on steam or dota2.

Hi, I’m Eric, and I hail from the south american country of Chile. (The country, not the spice)
South hemisphere, GMT-4
I like strategy and sandbox games, and have recently been playing allot of Civilization 5, Kerbal Space Program, Rome II Total War, Minecraft and Terraria.
I pledged 40 dollars to stone-hearth and I’m interested in stone-hearth because it mixes my two favorite genres and I enjoyed dwarf fortress a long time ago, and hearing that stone-hearth has components from it, it makes me 10% more exited for getting it.
I mostly lurk on the forums, so if you haven’t seen me then good job you are normal.

Gday I’m Ryan your almost average Aussie teen (some kids at my school call me Boris other simply call me Wank*r) living in Melbourne Victoria

Strategy RTS RPGs these are perhaps some of my favourite genres. To give a good example of each. The dawn of war franchise. Never winter nights 2 and Supreme commander. That said sigh I will say that the FPS stuff of the world can be cool at times. I’m kinda a pro at BF3 (cough premium cough)

I bought Stone hearth through the site so I. Unfortunately won’t get any kick stater rewards but I don’t care

here’s both of your “official” welcome aboards!

man, we have an impressive array of members…

Greetings! I’m theninjatoaster, Ninja, Nobody, Toaster, Ninjy, you get the picture. I hail from Hungary but was raised in the U.S.

I’ll play almost any game as long as I can get on PC(yes I’m one of them). At the moment my favorite genre is probably Strategy, but my friends are trying to get me into JRPGS. I’m above average in skill when it comes to FPS games, but I wouldn’t goes as far as to call myself pro. FPS wise you’ll probably find me on BF3 or TF2 when I want to take it easy. I’m very interested in the modding capabilities of this game and would very much like to make a Steampunk mod for the game one day. I have what you would call a pickelhaube(Spiky German helmet) obsession and seem to find myself making most of my characters wear the helmet.

Anyway, I hope to get to know many of you in the future!

welcome aboard @theninjatoaster!

quite a… unique name, and avatar… enjoy your stay on the forums!

After a couple of posts in other threads it is probably time to introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Michiel from Amsterdam (you know, the city know for it’s coffeshops ;-)). I’m running my own small business in IT. I design and develop custom software solutions ranging from Apps for iOS and Windows 8 & Phone 8 to websites and backend servers. I also do a lot of technical writing. Two things I don’t heve enough time for are (analog) photography and playing games (adventure games like the classical Sierra <xyz> Quest games, strategy games like Civilization and some Car racing games are my favs).

Next to my work and some play I take pride in my small family (1 wife, 1 daughter ;-)) and try to take good care of them and spend time with them.

I’m 90% certain I made a post here, but I can’t find it? I recognise comments made too…?

Anyway, whatever, I’m 15 from Liverpool, England. My hobbies include playing for a rugby team, a 5-a-side football team, a 6-a-side football team and an 11-a-side football team, of which the rugby and 11-a-side require training. It probably wouldn’t surprise anyone then to discover that I chose to continue studies in physical education for GCSE, as well as history and music. Music is something I am also looking to continue into A Level along with maths, further maths and computer science, as all these things are becoming important as I near halfway through my final year of high school. I would actually like to take music at university and one day compose for games like Stonehearth for a living, however I will need to improve from my grade 2 in piano and theory to grade 7 by then. It’s a shame I didn’t start learning until 2 years ago.

In my spare time I do my homework play games and play the piano. And of course, read the forums. Always watching :eyes:

Wide range of chaps here. Good to see. Me, I’m an old gamer from way back (pong days) and probably plenty older than anyone here. Young at heart though and anxiously waiting to get my hands on stonehearth after milking minecraft, cubeworld and terraria for all their worth.
