Game is taking a long time to start (caused by Antivirus/firewall)

As far as I know, nothing changed in my computer. In this last unstable version, for some reason the game is taking almost two full minutes to open its window and then start loading. While before it usually took a couple seconds, then a few more seconds in black screen until the game logo appeared.

This is a huge time difference compared to before, so something is wrong. I know my notebook is garbage (i3, intel graphics, 4gb ram) but a jump from a few seconds to 2 minutes is too much.

Any idea what may have caused this?

Hmm, with this much of a difference it’s almost certainly something trying to block SH. Check your antivirus, firewall, etc.

Uhm, I’m trying to disable AVG, but it is simple ignoring my command. It asks if I really want to deactivated it and no matter if I click yes or no, it keeps activated lol
Checking the task manager it seems Windows Defender is taking a good amount of cpu and ram, so it must be it.

Yep, that was it, thanks Max! I just added the whole game folder as an exception, it is now faster again.
