It’s earlier in the day…@Tom says he likes to stream to wrap up a day, whereas if it’s in the middle of the day, he’s got loads of time and nowhere he needs to be 
True, but that doesn’t mean that the premise of it isn’t odd. I mean, it’s like saying that, umm… I… can’t actually think of a good metaphor, I’ll come back to you on that one.
I think he would normally stream for longer, it’s just he has things to do or places to go, as he usually finishes with “But now I gotta go”. He was at the office for like another 9 hours when this started so he didn’t need to wrap it up to go somewhere today. After all, he normally finishes streaming at like half 5 - 6 where he is, which certainly here, is rush hour for heading home, so I expect that’s where he’s going

as @Smokestacks was alluding to, it was simply a matter of timing/convenience that allowed @Tom to stream his work day, as opposed to scheduling a set date/topic…
he just randomly decided to stream whatever he happened to be working on, and the concept didnt follow the typical pattern of work/respond to questions/work… he simply chilled out, worked on the icons, and streeeeeeeamed…

I like the no real questions and just watching him work on stuff like this gives us ideas of the way things are going we can give him some good constructive feed back. eg. the whole lantern stuff where he liked 2 and everyone liked 1 and he made something more in the middle of the road and everyone liked it. a GREAT example of the community and the devs working as a TEAM to create what i believe could be the best game of its generation.
@Tom i like the Stockpile interface i agree with you in that the buttons may not make alot of sense considering its on paper but you are right in that the community can figure it out really easily. one thing that might make it look more like an on paper thing is to do a check mark and or X approach in a corner of your icon. where this is for this pile or not in this pile. just a thought

i was able to watch it at school for like 15 min. but never really watched the rest of it i will wait for the real thing for this
