Farmer's Won't Farm

Summary:
The Farmers and Cooks won’t farm at all. They plant the seeds and hoe the ground but don’t harvest. and I’m getting angry because I don’t have enough food to get new character!
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Do
  2. Not
  3. Know

Expected Results:
Farmers and Cooks farm like Normal
Actual Results:
The Farmers and Cooks just haul things around or stand idle
Notes:
I tried switching the people farming and the place where they farm. they just hoe the soil and plant the seeds and leave them forever

Do the farmers continue to be stuck after saving and loading the game? If so, can you please upload your save file so I can take a look?

The farmers move as if they are ok but they just refuse to harvest the crop causing me to lose food. how do I send the save?

zip the entire save folder and upload it here if you can with the upload button

if you don’t have permission yet, you can upload it to a cloud sharing site like google drive or dropbox

hey there @Chris_Font, welcome to the discourse :smile:

to find the save go to this file path,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games

if you don’t know which save is the newest one, you can check the screenshot inside the save folder, then zip the individual save’s folder (not the entire saved_games folder) and upload it directly to the discourse either by using the upload button , or by dragging and dropping the .zip file.

if the save is larger then 10mb you could upload it to a site like googledrive or dropbox and provide a download link.

if you follow the steps i gave, Yshan will be able to download it directly from this thread :slight_smile:

alright, loaded up the save and, you’ve hit the inventory cap, and sadly your farmers won’t harvest anything if you’ve hit the cap… :confounded:

so… craft piles! clay/stone/wood piles are super useful for freeing up inventory space, as they take 18 items and turns them into 1 placeable item similar to a decoration. then when you need those 18 resources back simply use the harvest tool on the pile.

and if you don’t need/want all those resources that are taking up inventory space, you can use the destroy tool on them,

ohhh yes the inventory cap is very difficult ^^ i reach this very often and quick xD wasnt there a command to disable it?
