Everyone other than farmers goes into idle mode permanently

Summary:
This happens at different intervals then the memory leak. All characters just wind up in their houses or in the dining halls idling and won’t come out.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Stonehearth
  2. Play for an hour or 4 it really seems random like a buffer overflow.
  3. No one except farmers does anything but eat, sleep and idle

Expected Results:
All characters continue their jobs, mining, hauling and what have you.

Actual Results:
Everyone stands around eating raw food – no one is cooking-- and sleeping wherever they are. They do still go get food but usually wind up idling and sleeping in the bunkhouses or the dining halls.

By different interval I mean when this happens the leak isn’t critical yet.

Save restart reload and everyone runs out and goes back to work.

Hey there @Chris_Saam, welcome to the Discourse!

Is this still occurring for you in the recent A15 stable build?

Ooooooooo yeah it does. Restarting the game doesn’t work, I had to leave the game down for around a day before it started back to working ‘normally’.

…and then my Mercs started ignoring my orders (don’t attack, went anyway)

Hey there @ShoGraffiti, welcome to the Discourse!

If you (or @Chris_Saam) have a game where this is occuring, please upload it here to the Discourse for the devs to take a look.

To upload a save, locate the folder in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming a default Steam install), zip the individual save’s folder (not the entire saved_games folder), and upload it. If the *.zip is less than 10 MB, feel free to upload it directly to the Discourse. If larger, please upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.
