Super tiny update, just a fix.

Fixed

  • Fixed a small possible inventory nil error that could occur when an entity that has now owner (player_id) tries to transform.

TRAPPER+ 1.2.2

Short update, mostly fixes and some suggested changes. Also new and juicy compatibility to lots of biome mods and Home Sweet Home!

February 6th; v1.2.2

Added

  • Added a new boiled leather craftable item: Boiled Leather Worker’s Backpack! This item will only be present if using ACE.
  • Added new and improved filters for certain containers. Input bins (Supply baskets, supply tables, etc…) can now hold Clumps o’ Rock Salt, Salt, Smoked Salt (and not just any salt), Cuts of Animal Fat and Any Rendered Animal Fat or the specific types.
  • If using ACE, you’ll now be able to put the different kinds of rendered animal fat, salt and rock salt in barrels or supply casks. Additionally, output tuns will accept salt as a dry good and rendered fats as other fluids.
  • The mod is now officially compatible with the ā€œHome Sweet Homeā€ mod and it is now possible to craft its ā€œIngredients Pantryā€ item using Trapper+'s meat.
  • The mod is also now compatible with lots of biome mods so that they can display the proper colors for salt nodes. These are: Canyon (already worked by default), Archipelago, Lorki’s Biome, Plains, Meadow, Midgard Forest, Taiga (both versions), Rocky Mountains, Sacred Grove, Savannah, Seasonal Forest, Swamp, The Coast, Pale Peaks, Silent Woods and White Cliffs.

Changed

  • The transformation times of all items in the mod have been tweaked slightly. Should now be a bit more challenging in the early game and you probably won’t drown on pelts and jerky by the end game. This change only affects the transformation time and not the dropping rates - which means you can achieve the same production if you just increase the amount of transformation tools (drying racks, smokehouses, salt boxes, etc.)

Fixed

  • Really fixed (this time for real!) a bug that caused the Fish Trap limit to reset. (Only for ACE users)
  • Fixed an issue that didn’t allow the player to craft the Rayya’s Children exclusive cooking recipe ā€œMeat Tagineā€.

Could I suggest a wash basin for the trappers so they can wash off the stink of the tanning tubs so they aren’t pissy all the time about being stinky? :smiley:

Excuse me, how much time does it take to dry a pelt or tan a hide? I’m playing with ACE and Northern Alliance, and it have not produced anything for a few ingame days… The tanning tub even got refilled a few times already. How many days is it supposed to take? Or am I facing some sort of a bug?

Hi Dani,

I’m getting the problem with the tanning tubs., They’re full but nothing is coming out of them. I have all of your mods installed, including the core mod and ACE too. I’m not getting any error messages at all so I don’t know what’s going on. Its a brand new save too.

Any advice for me?

It could be because the pelts are not yet ready, or there is no storage

Hey! How long are we talking for the pelts to be ready? Although I didn’t time it I definitely waited a decent amount of time and there was plenty of storage too.

Ive started a new save with a lot less mods so I’m hoping that will fix it. I’ll update if it does.

So I think I have found the issue. It seems like the replace tannings button that days it’s automatic isn’t working correctly.

I’ve managed to do it manually however the replacing of rankings button isn’t very responsive and required a few goes to get it working.

That’s possible, yes. That system however uses the ACE mod transform system (that’s why without ACE you don’t have to replenish tannins and such) and there is a currently known issue where if a crafter tries to fulfill one of these orders but doesn’t currently have the requirements yet, they’ll give up trying again later – that’s probably what causes your tannin to not be replaced unless you cancel and re-give the order.

A tip to prevent that is to, before making tanning tubs, make a stock of some tannins (like 10 or so) to make sure you’ll have them when they’re first required

(and remember to make a ā€œkeep at least Xā€ order for them as well! Oh, and having a supply shelf with the tannins close by is super helpful too)

This is a mod inspired by Cirdain’s ā€œHearth-Tecā€ contest for building an underground shelter held in the ACE Discord Server during the month of August, 2020, this mod aims to bring - in a funny and very vaguely in-world/lore friendly way - a bit of the awesome world of Fallout into Stonehearth. This happens through a loadout that can be picked by any starting group of any default kingdom. More information on its workshop page link below! The Hunter released!

This mod is sort of a ā€œspecial requestā€ that came from Tilyene in the ACE Discord Server (and got some support from other people) and it inspired me to just go and do it since it’s something I’ve always wanted to do anyway.

More than just a civilian archer that runs around shooting animals, the Hunter includes some cool new mechanics like hunting camps, poaching trips and a hunting dog companion! Check it out and get ready to heed the call of the hunter! :merry:

[Template Pack] Lake Town Released!

Greetings, everyone :jubilant:

I’ve created and released my first template pack for the Template Pack Contest being held in the Stonehearth ACE Discord Server! Special thanks to @Cirdain for motivating this creation!

This is my first template pack so please let me know if there’s some kind of building missing, or things you’d like to see/updates/etc.

Please note that this pack requires ACE Unstable to work!
It features new furniture and a Brewer workshop so it will probably explode on the stable release!

It also requires the Glowy Windows and Fisher Mod + Archipelago Biome mods!

[ACE] COMPOSTING 1.2

Simple update, nothing new added other than some filters… But everything is now fully compatible (and functional) with the new ACE version!

December 26th; v1.2

  • The mod has been updated to the latest ACE version.
  • Fuel Selection storage UI will now display the Composting mod fuels.
  • Filters for the ā€œComposting Binā€ and ā€œManure Drying Rackā€ will not have the ā€œAnyā€¦ā€ options anymore; and these containers have been turned into multiple-filter containers.
  • Manure settings defined for Ducks and Oinkers
  • Digestion buffs added to all Duck and Oinker edibles.
  • Compostable qualities added to rotten duck meat and rotten prepared meat. (Rotten prepared meat will turn into a ā€œChunk o’ Compostā€ instead of a Bit!)
  • ā€œDry Manureā€ and ā€œDry Bit o’ Compostā€ (the fuels) are now sellable!
  • ā€œManure Drying Racksā€ and ā€œComposting Binsā€ can’t be set as default storage containers.
  • Filters for some of the mod’s resources have been added to storage containers and fluid containers. Storing things like rotten food or manure will make them last a little longer while waiting for space in the composting bin.
  • Composting Bins will last a couple of days more before getting ā€œMulchyā€ and requiring new thatch.

In all reality though - if you follow news and stuff, you probably know things aren’t really great in Brazil right now. I’ve now been unemployed for a while ( :glum: ) and while still doing some freelance work in my area (which is mostly communication/video/photography) it’s not… comfortable. But I should probably find some useful use for that free time… So…

Since I don’t like nor mean to beg, I’ve decided that I could try offering something back instead :merry:

I’ll admit that I’m 100% not happy with this - and I’m definitely not going to do this forever. Not because I don’t think it’s right, I mean - if someone wants to pay and someone is willing to do it, why not? But because I don’t think it fits the community standards I’ve been striving for so far. For that I am sorry :glum:. I’ll still do everything I do, of course - which includes gladly helping people that want to learn modding or helping everyone here with their own modding and all that. This will not change!
But… The option is there for those that just want to see their desires made, regardless of how it happened :jubilant: People did ask me for weird mods before (like… Naruto mods, more hairs, etc…) and now is your chance to actually bind me to that :jubilant:

I probably won’t do that forever, but it would definitely help out right now - at least until these troubling times are over with :merry:
And for those that would like to support without corrupting my soul, the tipping jar is working as usual, of course!
