I really hope that all this interest in the CW alpha inspires the SH devs to release an alpha build to satiate the masses! December is so far away :’(
It’s strange that hosting in the game didn’t work for me. But running the server works fine. The port is 12345 but you don’t need to put it in anywhere except your router for port forwarding. The game will only connect to 12345.
Ok, so who all is going to play? I know I am.
I’ve finally got my account up and going. Got a lvl 3 warrior and a lvl 2 ranger. I’ve got quite a bit of gear and raw materials that I cant use that I’d be happy to pass on.
Killed my first quest boss today, consider me tickled pink. Let me know if we get a game up and going, I’d be interested.
Edit: of course now the wife is forcing me out of the house to go shopping. Tried to tell her there was plenty of shopping in Cube World…
I have a lvl 11 Fire Mage, a lvl 3 Ranger (fyi, you can spam attack 2 with a crossbow and do craptons more damage than you can with attack 1), and a lvl 1 Warrior. My mage has killed a Crab boss, a giant turtle Saurian, and two mage Orc things.

ok, going to level up at least one of my characters… im leaning towards my adorable human mage… his retro golden lockes are something to behold!

I just want to play this so bad! But alas, I cannot register on Picroma, as “User registrations are currently disabled due to server maintenance.” Tiz a sad sad day. And yesterday for that matter 
The must be powerleveling in some way… I hit Lvl 4 with my elven rogue-girl… level 2 with my orcish warrior…
It felt like the first 2 level were the most hard to manage… to survive… now I have (for this stage of my rogue) decent armor and weapons (both ratings above 90%) and most important: 4 pets! … all melee though so there is no real planning involved, just going with the alpaca cause… it looks best among all of the 4.
You can have more than one pet? Do they just mill about in the pet district? How do you manage them, I was having to make some serious decisions here but if you can have more than one then that makes it all a bit easier!
you can have as many as you want, but you can only have one out at a time however… they all sit in crates in your inventory until you call them… each having different traits you might need in battle…

Once you get above about level 6 or so, the enemies tend to drop more than 1 or 2 xp. For killing that Saurian, back when I was about level 8 or so, I think, I got 30+ xp for it. Once you get to those levels, though, the key is to try to only go for blue and orange-texted creatures. I can consistently get 6+ xp points for killing beetles and the like.
ok, im out for most of today, but i’ll be leveling again this evening… and i think i’ll get my server added to the list here… will need to determine when it will be online, but anyone is welcome to hop in (once its available, of course )…
