There should be an option for various crafters to craft as many of an item as they can t any time, as opposed to crafting a set amount or maintaining a set amount in the inventory ex.
Spin all available fiber
Smelt all available ores
Craft logpiles until you run out of wood
make as much cornbread as possible
And conflicting orders–omelettes and fried eggs, for instance–the orders would be handled according to hwo the player arranged them in the priority queue. However, orders of this type would take the least priority.
When you go to issue a craft command, if you click the arrow to the left of the number (as if you’re going to make less than 1), it will automatically jump to the maximum number of that item you can craft with your current amount of resources.
Do really high maintain orders. My herbalist is set to maintain 100 potions. By doing this, they basically will always be making them when I have enough flowers, and when I get close to having 100 potions in my inventory, I just sell them, thus keeping the number below 100, thus keeping my herbalist making them indefinitely.
