@Geoffers747 I may be able to find my lost trove/stockpile/doomsday survival kit of xbox games, and when I do… it’s on like honkeytonk donkey kong long dong.
Anyway, just suggest a game, any game, and we’ll see who can play! Xbox games aren’t the only things that people own: there’s still Steam, Origin, and plenty of other platforms too!
Civ 5 isn’t really cpu/gpu melting anymore as it’s a few years old now, you’d still want a computer from the last few years though if you wanted to avoid trouble. I’d be willing to give any civ game a shot but I’ve only got 3-5, pitboss/gmr/async whatevs could be good for that, we could even try for a succession game if we wanted. There is also freeciv if people have no money but I’ve never looked at the multiplayer and while the html5 version looks alright I felt the ui and controls still have a way to come before it’s as good as the desktop version.
As for non civ games my main preference is ones that run on mac, I’m not a fan of shooters or rts much but if it’s possible to play for free I’ll give it a shot, prefer tbs or puzzle myself even if I’m not always very good.
Guys, I hate to be a noob but is therre an offical Stonehearth steam group - it seems like the best way to get together and play - as well as allowing us to host some form of tournaments
There isn’t an official steam group, but we could/ should create one for the forums! @SteveAdamo, shall we look at doing this over the next day or two?

Would be nice to have an “official” group. So far there are 4 groups existing. A french one, that one from Stonehearth Kingdom, an “international” one (do not know who created that one)… and a very fresh German group (I have created and need to promote now 
). Looking forward to it @Geoffers747.
P.S. Could be also nice because of the chat-room .

Yer I’m thinking of creating two - need to talk to the team.
One for those of us on the forums who want to game together, and a separate official stonehearth group for everything else, that way general discussion and questions can be held in that official group and the gaming arrangements in the other one.
Thoughts/ feelings?

I like the idea to split the gaming-part from the forum-related group. An “official” forum-group should be linked to Stonehearth and not have the top 10 posts related to other games.
heheh yea. Would be weird to have stonehearth group and then there is only chatter in there with “come play this game X”
