Candyland Terrain Mod

Long term intention to make them all individual biomes once adding biomes is available? (Or making them their very own pane!? :open_mouth:) I can just see my little Nihonjin running though the sweet landscape.

I’ll have to make a Candyland version of the More Trees Mod for this…

The top one? S’mores, I believe.

Yes, my plan is releasing the different terrains as separate mods, and merging them into the future biomes when they become available. Although it’s a bit difficult to find a good combination of edible colors and adding matching trees to them… As I’ve said, there are 6 different types of tree in this first version, which I find not entirely suitable in small spaces (not to mention trees as the lollipops, which have different contrasting colors). So one possible improvement would be moving some types of trees to different biomes and adding other colors or shapes as variants of the same type. That way the landscape would be more homogenized.

How Sweety!

If I was paid $1 for everytime someone made that pun, I’d have… well… $3.

And tbh $ aren’t much use over here anyway unless you’re headed across the pond anytime soon.

[Here it is.][1]

We could update the OP although this version is still incomplete. Try it and tell me if everything’s right =/

EDIT: Changed some little things, now its version 1.1

Just how excited I am for this little thing is so abnormal. I love this idea too, what about making the sheep cotton candy sheep?

I updated the mod to the latest version, which fixes the mixintos. It can be found here.
If you notice strange behaviours of the models please feel free to leave a comment here.

Expecting the release of Candyland1 tomorrow, if I manage to grasp the color of the flan’s caramel…

EDIT: I’m doing final checks. One of the settlers is a glutton… the first thing he did was walking directly into the flan…He wanted to eat the core or something xD

Sorry for my inactivity lately
(I thought this thread was about to be closed? - [This is the thread for updates of this mod][1])

The truth is I’ve been busy last month with some exams and I finally found a job (I’m so happy  ), I’m still getting used to everything. I might have finished my exams but I have yet to finish an online course, and hand in the project by the end of June. Due to all this, I haven’t had the opportunity to spend time on the mod, but I plan to do it once I finish the most urgent things. With the new Alpha there are going to be lots of changes (it shouldn’t affect the compatibility of Candyland, but there’s going to be so much new content…). I remember beginning to reskin the UI, but now there are many new components that I’ll have to bear in mind. Also lots of creatures (perhaps I could accept some colors as chocolate to save time :unamused: )

That’s pretty much it. I try to browse the forum every day to look for news and also the Curse forum, because sometimes there appear new reports and I want to reproduce them to answer the posts. I hope I’ll get some free time when the new release is launched to review the relatively latest bugs and organise the new bugs (people still keep making duplicates, but it’s just a matter of patience, as every so often new players get the game and are new to the forum, not to mention the slight differences in the reports that make you doubt between a duplicate or a new bug).

And so the mod is now in some sort of hiatus… =/
