I decided to finish the animation… The tail isn’t fun, took forever to get rid of all the big gaps
Made a buffalo, one of the largest peaceful creatures intended in the game. And one that will reward you with plenty of meat to eat if you slay it.
Started with inspiration from @Froggy 's yak then beefed it up and made it less yak-y.
The Buffalo’s too small in comparison to the player… I’ma scale it up by 2 and add more detail in.
Actually, i think buffalos have smaller (but more curved) horns. Perhaps that’s possible with more detail?
Here’s the reference image I was using, But yeah I’m working on it.
I also want it to seem intimidating, therefore a little bigger horns than the typical buffalo.
People have asked me before if I planned to have mounts in the future, It’s definitely a neat idea but i’d have to figure something out for positioning the player ontop the mount.
Some of the skills that don’t move the feet/waist still work fine while mounted.
Don’t plan on making mounts a big part of the game anytime soon, but just testing atm to see how it’d look. Looks fine imo.
Just curious what people think about two major things I’m debating for the game.
#Mounts?
For combat or just quick travel, would they be cool to have in-game?

#Pets?
Useful or not, would they be cool to have in-game?

FOR NARNIA!
Would have to add a separate movement for your hands to do if you’re holding something in them, but still… looks good!
Please feel free to give any opinions or suggestions below.
Another innocent animal the player shall harvest for its delicious meat.
Incase the player decides to befriend it…
And here’s my example of clothed player on it(made by my friend helping with the game).
Threw in the queen dragon, added in a check for if the mount is flying and well…
Close enough, though I doubt it’ll ever be a thing in-game.
Working on my first predator in-game that will appear outside the wasteland(place where mythical creatures and end-game content dwells).
I thought the first thing was to take the lion by the tail, but you started on the other end.
good work all around
I took the lion by the ears first ironically… then the face… then the jaw… then the mane… thennnnnnnnnnn the feet, touched up the body and there it is.
