alpha6 r153 - after new template creation - red box errors

Bug:
attempt to create new template by editing provided template.

Summary:
started with provided template of 4 bed row house. removed beds to make it call upgrayedd items as functional. mean bed to nice bed

Steps to reproduce:

  1. use template engine to lay down a row house
  2. erase the beds
  3. save as new template
  4. try to build said template, or any other.

Expected Results:
a house with no beds so we can choose later

Actual results:
see screen shot doc.

Work around tried:
been testing the keep x on stock so you can make y. did notice some things have the grey border. you need to hit level 2. i hope that comes down to character stats on how fast they see and learn new things.

i’ve hit a few snags.

The last image link you provided does not belong here. I can move it if someone makes the screenshot thread for Alpha 6. I won’t embed it here because it derails the bug report.

Anyway thanks for reporting  It’s always heartwarming that people want to help the game and take their time to report bugs here.

I haven’t seen if anyone has welcomed you to the forum, so Welcome to the forum, @noizes !

Unless you’re using some other account and had been here from before, I know of people that have several accounts or share their accounts or make new ones because they forgot the password…

And now who’s derailing the report…?

There we go, found the screen shot. Or rather it still happens so I can’t build any template houses.

If you click on the blue text in the red error box, you’ll get a more detailed grey version popping up with specifics on that error BTW.

got the error too.

Just so you know this person isnt alone.

In r156 I was able to make a modified building and save the template and then load the template. I did have to delete the template that was previously created as it did keep generating the errors.
