I haven’t really been keeping up on things in the past 5-6 months. I was an original kickstarter backer and followed it closely through 2013, then stopped keeping up as closely. Getting back into it now! Alpha 3 is actually really fun until you run into a game-breaking bug.
Oooh really? I’ve had one or two myself but it seems really fairly stable nowadays, next time you get it would you perhaps be able to throw up a bug report for it?

I posted it as reply to this topic on stoneheartguru, but no one seems to be active there. I will try to reproduce it and record the details of how to do so if you want.

Why is it that Stonehearth Guru is incredibly inactive almost all the time?
well to be fair, this was the original forum for SH, and the vast majority of folks registered here first… who knows what will happen 6 months from now though…

Yeah, that is true, but why is that there is a lot of people who we don’t even know joined the Curse Forums, but not the Main Forums?
Because it was the forum designated as the one to post all the bug reports to, it was announced alongside the first release of the game meaning people who haven’t been following too closely will simply head there, also everyone who already has a curse account is automatically a member of Stonehearth Guru meaning people don’t have to worry about signing up.
I mean, I’m sure I can provide you with 101 different answers.

I have encountered this Bug multiple times, in fact. It will probably be patched in the next Alpha Release.

Now I know that the bug was a special occurrence for me(a sucky one) and it is in fact a bug and not something that went wrong when I tried to download Stonehearth.

When ever i open stonehearth through steam, its in my task bar, but the screen wont open… Help?
Alpha 4 is pretty rad so far. Just one question though, is it possible to get the hunter’s knife? Can’t seem to figure it out. Maybe I’m blind or something. Thanks in advance.
