So… I’m a bit of a ‘noob’ at Qubicle, but I’ve been wanting to give it a try, and I’d say this somewhat ornate stone pillar is a good start! I was thinking it could be used in a dungeon or temple of some sorts… and I’ll make a broken/worn down version later!
I think, Try to add color noise(crack, moss, darken etc.) and difference detail to that.
I’ll take that into consideration…
It looks kinda Roman/Aztec…Whats it based on?
I don’t know really… I just kinda did it from memory. I thought it looked Greek almost…
Oh yeah…
I’ve changed it a bit… you should be able to spot the difference.
Yay, thats the way to go. Just start at making whatever. We all started being noob at qubicle, but I can tell you it becomes second nature very soon.
I tried making a broken version… I’ll be adding a few more things to my collection too…
Look good. I like this.
Perhaps to really give off the Greek vibe (if that is what you were going for) lighten the colours up so it’s practically white with a grey offset? The Greeks would never have had a pillar that dark, it traps all the heat, and you know what the temperature’s like there
Looks pretty nice though
True… I’ll modify it soon!
These are awesome, maybe they could be part of a Roman mod or Greek mod?
Perhaps… I’ll have to see what I can do with my limited non-existant knowledge of Lua…
