Am I the only one who noticed? After the last ACE update, all the pet bowls and kibble options are gone…? Where did they go? By the way, I am NOT saying ACE related, its just gone since that date range.
O_o
wondering if I did some major boo-boo
going to check
EDIT
Hmm…
They seem to be all here in my game, both the bowl recipes and the kibble recipes for the cook.
What kingdom you playing with and which mods are you using?
That’s a loaded question. I use a lot of mods. I can list them if you like.
Im suddenly having cook issues as well over the last few games, as soon as I assign a cook my game basically crashes and many opening screens go blank. Maybe the change happened around the time I loaded composting mod or Jewel of the Nile mod.
So sad im not more knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of creating the mods… I would devote my life to making sure they ALL worked harmoniously.
Well, I’m the author of the Composting mod and I can assure you it doesn’t touch the cook in any way (nor any of the pet food/kibble and bowls)
Great to know :))
want some error messages ?
I have 7 at start of game just now. They aren’t the same as the UI error I get when the cook is assigned, but they might help me/you figure out what needs to get dumped to play smoothly. I started a new game last night to test the cook again. Im on it now, as soon as I am able to assign a cook again, I will post the UI error involving that. Im happy to dump mods that don’t play well together and I LOVE your mods.

I’d need a list of mods to be sure, but it seems you’re facing some weird incompatibilities
Yeah… will get that to you. Just noticed as well, I can craft an animal trough but it doesn’t show up in my inventory for placement but it does show up in my towns inventory list.
Heres that UI error I get after I assign a cook to my planet

Ohh, that’s a lot of mods
Ok, so… the weird thing I see is that you seem to be getting issues with ACE related stuff, but these are issues that ACE currently has not, (otherwise there would be a flood of people with the same errors)
So it has to be an issue with some mod trying to make things compatible with ACE instead, since it seems to be failing in searching certain things like ACE’s milk mixins, clothing mixins, etc… I’ve been a bit out of the loop from new mods, but could be something you added recently?
Would you remember the last few mods you added? I could maybe check them out
Your screenshot shows you aren’t using ACE mod, you can see its not got the distinctive appeal icon button change, thats why you get the missing stonehearth_ace mixins happening, make you sure you enable ACE mod. BUT, you probably have to start a new world after enabling ACE mod, since it changes so many things.
it should have a colorful button that says Heatmaps, when ACE is on:
Ive never disabled my ACE mod. Ive had it since the mod came out. I see that missing, I wondered about that myself. I definitely have ACE
