I would name my kingdom Prussia! Duh

hmmmm, thinking about this, Im thinking Hogsmeade, as that fits better with the stonehearth theme of medieval and magic :stuck_out_tongue:

that’s the general shape I build all my castle/city’s in.

@ScorchingRaider you know of the Reich von PreuBen
(I use a caitpal B for I don’t have that symbol to complete the name properly Sorry)

@Azhrak and @theEPiK1 thank you very much for the hearty laughs this morning!

As for possible kingdom names… for me it all depends upon the characteristics of the land my settlement is placed in, so, whilst I appreciate the irony, naming something ‘Azure bay’ when it’s at the base of a mountain surrounded by desert isn’t my cup of tea (and by Raya I love tea).

But just some general names, I find this website pretty cool for dwarven inspired names, I have no idea about the reliability/ accuracy of the names, but hey it’s pretty fun:

Some of my favourites:

  • Valgirn (Dragon Mountainhold)
  • Tortek (Soul cradle)
  • Belack (First Bridge)

People might also find this of interest.

As for what I’ll name my kingdom … Ruling out the obvious Geoffdom, Geoffington, Geoffing, Geoffich and Stoke-on-Geoff I have no idea.

You all should also try this name generator. It works pretty good, and has different categories and algorithms that you can select.

Lumberton. Because it’s the name of a place near me in real life and also sounds like a silly little community that could never kill a dragon.

I would name mine the Kingdom of Avalon. The name is based off of my favorite Minecraft server of all time, this text below being the lore of the server, based off of occurrences on the storyline:

Many years in the past, Many kings and queens ruled the land. But a man named Maximus Aurolios brought chaos to the world, destroying all of the Human Kingdoms. One hundred years had passed, and brave settlers returned to Avalon, only to find it infested with monsters and disease. Some of the humans turned into beasts, Werewolves, Vampires, or even worse. And now Kingdoms of Man and Beast have arisen to tame or to ravage the landscape.

It’s also in Arthurian legend where Excalibur was forged!

Woah! How did I not know that? … Then again, I don’t read very many Arthurian legends. I did know that the name was a reference to something. But I wasn’t sure what. Very cool! That makes me want to use the name even more!

the Arthurian legends are fantastic… if you want a different perspective, try Mists of Avalon

which, sounds like a great name for a kingdom as well…

My town shall be named BOAT MURDERED after the epic tale of Dwarfs, Treasure, Rampaging Elephants, and Lava spewing from the earth.

The Tale of Boat Murdered is a story about the game Dwarf Fortress which I feel is a game that Stonehearth somewhat follows to an extent.

I loved Boatmurdered.

I hope we can do that over here one day. I guess it won’t be as dramatic as Dwarf fortress can be sometimes but it can nonetheless be interesting to build a kingdom with some fellow … rulers (I don’t know what the official name for community individuals is. gomen)

The Imperial Republic of Jandet.

As the name suggests, it’s an Imperial Republic (don’t think about it too hard).
