What would you name your kingdom?

i cant help but think too hard. ok im breaking this down.
imperial = empire
republic = democracy
of jandet = a name
so the final answer i came up with: A Empire of Democracy Called Jandet or AEDCJ

Actually, if we’re being honest here… a Republic doesn’t necessarily denote a democratic system… all it means is that there are representatives for several districts of a nation who represent the constituents of said district. However, one example of a democratic republic is the United States of America, and one alternate example of a republic would be the Soviet Union. They both have representatives, but one of them has elected representatives, the other one has appointed representatives.

Anyway, now that my politico-historical ranting is over, I AM THINKING ABOUT IT TOO HARD!!!

Representatives of the Public.

“Reppublic”, shortened to just “Republic”.

It’s hidden right there in the name, isn’t it?

Actually the word republic comes from the latin “Res Publica” meaning public affair.

Although, you were pretty close. The words public and represent come from Latin :slight_smile:

Just gotta love that Latin. My clan is even Roman-themed.

First Great Empire of Gthetya

I’m going for a occult style theocracy.

In doing that, you would be dooming every settler there.

Do it.

Improvises something stupid that just sounds cool.

And then I end up playing longest with kingdom named “derp”,
I’m not much of a name generator.

welcome aboard @ZarThePal! :smile:

may your mystical realm be forever shrouded in mystery…

All these empire’s only make me think of two things. Sigmar and The god Emporer

hmmmmm, Coruscant perhaps, or maybe Naboo :3

Taking inspiration from some of my D&D (Read: Dungeons and Dragons) campaign worlds, I have some names that I want to use but can’t because, well, they’re from my D&D worlds. It’s just not the same ripping the names out and putting them in Stonehearth. Anyway, a setting that has yet to be officially put on paper that I’ve been thinking about is the world of Arceum. Essentially, there are four basic kingdoms, one of which has been lost to the world. Faelond, the Kingdom of Stone, is home to a variety of races, mostly dwarves, located in the Abbadon Mountains. Peolos, the Kingdom of Man, is located in the eastern area of the region, next to the Abbadon Mountains. Shaalier, the Kingdom of Elves, is located in Castus Rock, south of the other kingdoms. Finally, we have Rapion, the first kingdom established in Arceum. There was a flood through some circumstance or another (I still haven’t gotten that part down) and is buried deep, with a very unlikely chance of being found.

Well, that took more time to write than I would have liked. But yeah, I can either use one of those names and probably never get to use that setting, or think of some other names that would be appropriate. Also, bonus points for figuring out the etymology of “Rapion.” It’s not completely part of the language I based it off of, but you can get it. Here’s a hint: “A man chooses, a slave obeys.”

So going with My Empire being the “Inferno Empire” or was it republic? meh, anyways, I was thinking that you would be able to tell my cities apart from others being that I would have dark buildings with orange roofs, the color of autumn trees. And that there is the possibility that my first city would be called “Charvale” (see who can find that root)

I have several ideas for different city states and smaller satellite nations, that are members or satellite states along with overseas colonies. I have 2 nation names and profiles that I’ve developed.

The Imperial Pact of Interdependent Countries. Simply known as ‘The Imperium’ it is a large, rapidly expanding empire. The first Imperium is a classical era empire, with buildings and villagers resembling ancient Romans and Greeks. It collapsed during the dark ages era. The second Imperium is styled on Renaissance style Italy up before morphing into something that resembles the 19th century British empire, huge factories, huge ports and markets along with an extensive rail network. All policed by several massive legions, made up of smaller regiments from small armish style towns/ villages.

The Republic of Dave An independent state, it succeed from the Imperium after a violent and bloody revolution. The buildings are armish/ early- late colonial style. The capital city; Hemfort, contains all of the large government buildings, made from marble. A large avenue runs up through the walls of Hemfort to the main government building, that is based on the capitol building.
