Destroying the bushes did not result in any change in behaviour.

Success. The villager was able to climb out, cross the roof, and climb down another ladder.
The bushes are a little tricky cause they have a wider collision box, so even if it looks like there is enough space between two of them, it probably was blocked by their collision boxes.
