So how do I install it?
what version of windows do you have? 8.1 has it already included
I have a windows 8 why do you need to know?
We ask for that to help narrow down any updates, E.G What we where talking about with service pack 1. From your log you uploaded, It appears to be mentioning something about graphics drivers,
So here are some more epic questions (Sorry if this is becoming frustrate, I know how annoying this must be for you)
1 - You donât have both versions installed (Steam and Humble Bundle) at the same time?
2 - Have you tried the steam version?
3 - Could you triple check your graphics drivers? Even compare the updates via the official website of your graphics card version, Some times your pc wonât list all updates.
Not sure what else I could suggest,
I really hope this helps, Sorry you are having this problem!
1 I just updated my graphic driver 2 how do I download the steam version
Do you mean right now you updated? If so do the issues still happen?
And to try the steam version in your email it should provide a unique key to use on steam you can get it that way.
Good luck,
Yeah I updated it now but the crash is still happening but again how do I get the steam version?
im guessing you have a steam account, correct? and if so then you have steam installed, correct?
here is what you need to do to download it on steam,
-
open steam
-
click the âadd gameâŚâ
-
select âactivate a product on steamâŚâ
-
go to your humble bundle page, highlight and copy the steam key
-
paste the steam key into the product code box
-
click finish
it should start downloading and then you will have stonehearth available to play through steam
im hoping those steps make sense, if not i will rewrite it
Where is the steam key
If you bought the game, you should have a Humble Bundle, which includes the Steam Key as part of it. In Humble Bundle, near the bottom of the page, there are four links (Library, Purchases, Keys, and Coupons). The Steam Key should be in, well, the Key page.
One advantage of the Steam Key is that you can download (and update) the game on multiple computers with one key, as long as they have the same Steam user. I find this useful to play on different PCs.
hat, and the fact you dont have to re-download the game every stable update, and the fact you can play the unstable builds
8 bit crab thank you so much thanks to you and your 64 bit idea thing I can finally play thank you so much
yay! glad to know that is was a simple 64-bit change and not some complicated thing
Now I have 1 more question how do I update it to alpha 10?
if your using steam it should auto update
with humble bundle you just need to go to your humble bundle account page and re-download it. make sure you un-install alpha 9 before downloading alpha 10. hope this helps
