So i’m trying to make a game with my friend. I created a new world because our previous one was too buggy and i had just stared cutting down trees after setting down my flag when it suddenly kicked me out of Stonehearth completely. To be honest, this isn’t the first time but usually I can just reporn the game and just jump back in. But not now, i clicked on the stonehearth app in steam and started it up but now i’m stuck at the black screen with the text radiant in the center. I has been like this for quite some time and won’t move past it. What do i do? I just wanted to play with my friend because he’s only got a few hours to play every few days and this is seriously messing with it.
Can you upload your stonehearth.log file? It is located in the game install directory. Default Steam location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth.
I’m looking in the stonehearthy files and maybe i’m just dumb but there doesn’t seem to be a stonehearth.log file. There is a stonehearth json and a stonehearth text and a stonehearthd.dll
The one that says “Text document” is the log.
Hmm, that log shows no errors. But it does show a lot of mods, which can make initial loading long. If this worked before with the same mods installed, I would try solving it with one of these:
- Once on the black screen, press F5 to reload the UI.
- If that doesn’t work, reboot the machine.
- If that doesn’t work, make sure your antivirus or other security software isn’t blocking Stonehearth.
- If that doesn’t work, verify file integrity in Steam.
